I learned a lot about heyman from watching it, I think everything he has accomplished on his life came through lying and bullshitting, which he's a master at. He's also a brilliant booker, learning from the Mcmahons, Dusty, and Kevin Sullivan. I didn't remember much of his wcw days, but the Dangerous Alliance looked great, it was only supposed to be a clone of the Four Horsemen, but it could've become so much more, unfortunately for us fans, he sued and left wcw just when they were getting great.
Joey Styles made a great point why ECW lived and changed the industry and why it also died, apparently the company was profitable when Tod Gordon owned it, but once Heyman became the owner, he let his imagination run wild and didn't followed a budget. For example: Gordon claimed once Paul wanted to have a helicopter land outside of the ecw arena, another time Heyman told Sandman that he wanted to book Macaulay Culkin play his son.
They also discussed the Kool Aid drinking, it is astonishing how Heyman motivated people to basically destroy their bodies for free, no one was inmune to its effects, Raven said that even he, a jaded veteran believed in Paul, even his own business partner Tod Gordon fell for it, Paul lied to him for a year that they were close to signing a tv deal on Florida and the MSG network, when he found Paul had been lying about it he left.
When he appeared as a color commentator on Raw, everyone was shocked and wanted to kill him, but Joey Styles defended him, saying that the reason he declared bankruptcy much later and didn't told the boys, was because when bankruptcy is declared, the debtors can recall every money the company has given someone, he did it to protect the wrestlers.
His booking of smackdown was also mentioned, my favorite quote of his WWE tenure was that of Stephanie McMahon, "He could be great, but he is his own worst enemy." Dreamer also hated him for years, but forgave him after he saw a promo he did with Vince, when Paul said he lied every day of his life just to stay alive. The WWECW was discussed and how it was only supposed to be a low budget internet show, but a network wanted it. His clashes with Vince are mentioned and how he ultimately left the company.
Nowadays he's in a much better place he was just by being talent, he mentions that he loves helping the young talent, and how he actually learns more from someone like Renee Young than he teaches her.
Very good documentary, I strongly reccomend it.

My favorite doc of theres since, ironically enough, the Rise and Fall of ECW (checking in just slightly ahead of the most recent Stone Cold release) And, as I mentioned in a thread I started earlier this week, I love the fact they.... {Spoiler}{Spoiler}kept Punk's clips, both his interview clips and the little bit they dug into as far as his and Paul's relationship. They didn't try to whitewash Punk out of it and, for that, they earned some of my respect.

What kind of extras do you get on this thang? Given that usually you get bonus matches and the brotha don't do no work.

That arent removing him from history or refusing to mention him (they promoted his documentary for the network a few weeks ago)

I hope once Lesnar leaves (WM31?) they send Paul to NXT to work with the talent there. He has a knack for molding untapped potential, and it's clear as day all throughout the video. I really enjoyed it. According to Heyman, they spent about 16 hours filming the damn thing. That's nuts.

I don't think Vince or Stephanie would want him on creative again, last time it didn't turned out so well, on the DVD Stephanie claimed that sometimes Paul, when he was in charge of OVW, would "poison" the young talent into becoming anti authority and rebellious.

I just got the bluray of this.....so uh....what the hell was with the constant super-slow mo shots of Heyman looking around angrily or pounding his fist on a brick wall?! At first I didn't even pay any attention, but after the 5 shot of him very slowly turning his head into the camera making a sour-puss face I was like wtf why do they keep showing this?!
