List some of your favorite sitcoms of all time.
If you are obsessive compulsive and feel the need to put them in some sort of order, feel free.
Here are mine (in no order)
- The Office (British and US Versions) - Everybody Loves Raymond - All in the Family - Arrested Development - Scrubs - Growing Pains - ALF - Friends - Seinfeld - King of Queens
That's it for me. I didn't include The Simpsons, South Park, or Family Guy because they are considered an animated series, and those 3 shows get enough love around here to begin with.

I could go on for days... Go ahead, I'm cool with it. The more shows listed, the more discussion it could spark.

Roseanne was a great show. Watching the reruns now, I can appreciate it much more than I could when I was younger.

My Personal Top Ten Countdown 10. Saved By the Bell- It's peer guilt but as a child of the 80's it has to be on the list 9. Cheers- I'm a bar guy, plus my nickname is Norm 8. Honeymooners- The first gritty working class sitcom, Jackie Gleason is a genius 7. Arrested Development- A clever modern fresh aproach to the sitcom with great writting 6. Soap- Susan Harris' brillant parody of the Soap genre. Had the first gay character on a major TV show 5. Dick van Dyke Show- This is just old school fun for me, like the episode where Laurie revels that Allan Brady wares a toupe 4. Family Ties- My parents were ex-hippies, just like the main charters so growing up this show was bittersweat to my family 3. Nothern Exposire- The first of two "dramadies" on the list. The quircky people of Cicily, AK as told by New York Dr. Joel Fleschman, I found it great suff. 2. M*A*S*H- If it had ended after season 5 this would be the #1, still there was enough great stuff from humor (Hawkeye trying to get ribs from Chicago) to sex (Hawkeye and every nurse) to tragidy ("Lt.Col Henry Blake's plane was shot over the Sea of Japan, it spun out....there were no survivors") 1. Seinfeld- What needs to be said, it's Larry David and Jerry Seinfeld? Pure Genius, the show ended the 80's family genre that had grown bloated and crappy and led to the modern sitcom.
