Probably semantics but why do they advertise this as "new payment option" instead of "new payment plan"?

Good to see WWE realizing nobody's going to pay $20 to watch WWE Network. The thing I don't get though, is the second part. How is "there is now an option to pay for six months of the WWE Network in one fell swoop at $9.99 a month" different than what we had before?

Probably so people won't get confused thinking that they just did away with the $9.99 6-month commitment plan altogether.

"6 month commitment" gives people sticker shock. Telling them a higher month-to-month price while saying "but you can get it cheaper if you pay in one fell swoop!" makes people feel more welcome to pay. Who knows why. People are idiots, I guess.

Yeah, it makes sense advertising-wise I suppose. I still sorta think people will just buy the cheaper option because it is cheaper, though.

How is "there is now an option to pay for six months of the WWE Network in one fell swoop at $9.99 a month" different than what we had before? It is probably referring to the option of paying $60 at once but still getting the $9.99 a month price.

Can I continue to pay $9.99 every month or do I now have to pay $60 at once for all 6 months?

Can I continue to pay $9.99 every month or do I now have to pay $60 at once for all 6 months? There are three options. Each month you get billed 9.99 for 6 months, you can also pay that all up front or you can do one month for 12.99. Even if 19.99 was a bit much for a 1 month payment I'm surprised they didn't go 14.99 unless this is more like an intro trial for Summerslam.

Can I continue to pay $9.99 every month or do I now have to pay $60 at once for all 6 months? You can still pay $9.99 monthly as long as you agree to the 6 month commitment. The payment options are: $9.99 a month with a 6 month commitment $59.94 in a one time payment for 6 months $12.99 a month with the ability to cancel at anytime Apple TV users can pay for 6 months up front though iTunes for $59.99 as well Got beaten!
