Just something that I thought about...Hulu, Netflix and other things are on Nintendo...and I have seen a Slam City episode added to the 3DS' Nintendo Video service.
So...to broaden its consumer base, should the WWE Network have 3DS and Wii U versions?
I could see them both being good...3DS for portability, Wii U to watch it on the gamepad.
What do you guys think?

Absolutely. In fact I'm astounded it's not already. If Netflix and Hulu are both available on the systems then there's absolutely no good reason why it shouldn't be available on Nintendo systems as well. The more hardware available that can use it, the better.

The games I think it's more a thing about the graphic level of PS4/XB1 compared to Wii U (as it was 360/PS3 to Wii), hence why they don't try.
I could be off base there, but that's what I see. Could also be why they don't try handheld versions anymore too.

I wouldn't be surprised if it came later. I mean we just got (getting) new devices for the first time since the Xbone got its network app.

And it's a damn shame that the Wii U and 3DS do not have the ability to watch WWE Network.

For the record, I find the Amazon Instant Video app on the Wii U is the best working version of the Amazon App. So I highly doubt it's the Wii U's hardware/software fault for lack of a WWE App. There's a decision being made somewhere that's probably unrelated to anything we care about.

I don't think it can work. The N64's online connectivity was spotty at best.

They probably just looked at which devices were selling the most, looked at Wii U not selling a lot at the time, and figured "Meh, why bother?". Would be fitting for people's perspectives on Wii U.

Yes. It also really bothers me how the WWE games aren't really on Nintendo consoles, either. Third parties say they want nothing to do with Wii U since it's not doing that well, but it's not doing that well BECAUSE third parties say they want nothing to do with Wii U. This guy gets it. The circular logic at play is nauseating. Its the third parties' job to make all major hardware look appealing. Nintendo can't put WiiUs in homes themselves, that's been proven already. If the third parties just step it up and help the WiiU look as interesting as they've helped make the others look, suddenly there's another platform worth of game sales to add to their pocket. The same goes for WWE Network. I very much see the appeal of watching a PPV on my 3DS or GamePad while someone else would rather be watching the football game on the TV.

I'll bet it's on Nintendo's end... somehow.

I'll bet it's on Nintendo's end... somehow. I would imagine this has alot to do with it. Could be Nintendo doesn't want wrestling on their devices, maybe they want a cut of the action and WWE told them to go scratch. Think there's more to it other than "WWE is ignoring Nintendo devices". I would imagine if they could put an app on the 3DS and Wii U, it would already be done.

I'd love to watch content on my classic gameboy. I would probably need to attach the Light Boy so I can watch it at night.

Further than that I think viewers should be able to control the wrestlers with their joy pads. Obviously it'd have to be only one selected viewer each week who gets to do it but imagine the hours of fun seeing HHH trying to go through a door by walking into a wall or wrestlers awkwardly crouching when they intended to jump.

The WWE is likely working under the assumption that no-one with a Nintendo console wants WWE content since they've made it clear that they're not going to make any attempt to develop games for those platforms. Nintendo could get the network if they were offer incentives to the WWE, but what would be the point? They have Hulu and Netflix and the WWE network isn't exactly doing fantastic on other platforms.

You'd just all complain about how Mario never jobs to King Koopa, even though he can cut a better promo.

Third parties say they want nothing to do with Wii U since it's not doing that well, but it's not doing that well BECAUSE third parties say they want nothing to do with Wii U. It's a paradox, really... the Wii U is too unorthodox for conventional gaming so they don't want to put the effort into even porting a version... and then you hear producers complain about the Wii U not selling because they don't want to put games on it. However, I think a WWE Network app could work and would be a good downloadable option. After all, they have a Roku version.

That sounds great and all, but I don't think Vince even knows what Pokemon is, so I doubt he'd try his usual out of date pop culture knockoff routine with TwitchPlaysPokemon.
