Heatwave '98 is the best ECW show I've ever seen.

Imo the best 10 PPV's in the WWE during that time frame:
1. Wrestlemania XVII 2. ECW One Night Stand 2005 3. Money in the Bank 2011 4. No Way Out 2001 5. Backlash 2000 6. Summerslam 2002 7. Royal Rumble 2001 8. Summerslam 2000 9. ECW One Night Stand 2006 10. Survivour Series 1998
Really all of 2001 had at least one classic match.
Rumble- The Rumble, the ladder match NWO- The 3 stages of hell, WWF title match, the 4 way IC match Wrestlemania- Vince/Shane, TLC2, Angle/Benoit, Rock/Austn Backlash- Rhino/Raven Judgement Day- Tag Team Turmoil King of the Ring- Angle/Shane Invasion- RVD/Jeff, Main Event Summerslam- Storm/Edge, Angle/Austin, Tajari/X-Pac Unforgiven- Angle/Austin, RVD/Y2J SSeries- Main Event, Dudleys/Hardys Vengeance- RVD/Taker

Heatwave '98 is the best ECW show I've ever seen. Jesus that makes me wonder how bad the other ECW PPVs are there, I thought most of that was awful.

Backlash 2000 remains my favourite WWE PPV of all time. There are great matches and moments stacked across the card from top to bottom. Plus, Trish Stratus looking mighty fine indeed.
Anarchy Rulz 99 is my favourite ECW PPV. Justin Credible and Sabu have a cracking match, Tazz vs Mike Awesome vs Masato Tanaka is brilliant, RVD had a spotfest which as the time was fun but hasn't aged well.
WCW Spring Stampede 99 was for my money the best WCW PPV ever and in a glorious twist, Juventud Guerrera had match of the night which is saying something on a stacked card. Arguably the last great WCW card.
