I bought a ROH DVD on eBay a couple of weeks ago. The date of payment is May 27th.
Now, I haven't recieved it yet, so my friend encouraged me to complain, so I am. I'm using the Report Item Not Recieved through PayPal option, and now I need to let the seller know why I'm opening the dispute and how he can help resolve the dispute.
I have no idea how to begin, or what to say.
I've bought a ton of stuff over the Internet the past couple of years, and this is the first time I haven't recieved something, so I don't know how to go about doing this.
The friend that encouraged me to complain uses eBay a hell of a lot more than anyone should, so he knows what the jazz is all about. I just don't know what to say in complaint to the seller.

I wouldn't complain yet, but I'd contact the seller to ask them when they sent it, and if they could track it. If no response, then you complain.

Don't slack off, though. You only get a small window of time to leave feedback for your things and if they're truly stiffing you (I've run into THOSE folks myself), your chances for leaving a bad feedback are short. Ditto for getting a refund or making a claim.
And as much as you can, use PayPal. It makes getting your cash back MUCH easier.

I too have bought a ton of stuff off Ebay and only had trouble once, over wrestling tapes. I emailed the seller and while he seemed quite sincere, he was totally full of shit, and i gave him some time, and then wrote him the most vile despicable hate filled letter i could, and ripped him a new one on Ebay too

Oh yes I've had my problems. I purchased some mother of pearl opera glasses a few months ago which said come complete with 'display' case. It was no such thing. They were wrapped in cellophane and bubble wrap and placed inside a cardboard box which had one of it's sides removed and replaced with with a plastic panel supposedly to act as a window.

If you purchased the ROH DVDs from Ring of Honor, you'll revieved them. If not from them, there's always a chance you wont. But I've only had one problem with the item I purchased, and that was like 4 years ago, and it was only like six bucks, so no biggie.

I'm always wary of purchasing technological items from eBay, especially CD's and DVD's. I'm unsure as to where I would stand if the quality of the CD isn't good. Even if you buy something direct from a reputable retailer one has to endure a headache trying to convince them that the scratches on the CD were not caused when you removed it from the box.

Yeah I've had bad experiences 3 times
The first two, I sent payment and never recieved the items.
The third, the seller NEVER returned my emails about shipping options and payment, and then left bad feedback for me claiming I did a bunch of untrue crap.
And don't expect eBay to do a DAMN thing about it, they wont.

I had this issue once. The seller never sent what I bought or responded to me or PayPal or eBay, so I just got my money back. The PP and eBay folks were real helpful to me. It took all of a week after I sent a complaint to eBay and PP.

I like now, how they have a rating and you can see if the seller is reliable

That, and I haven't even tried, but can I buy from their website here in Britain? Thanks for all your replies. I needed the encouragement. I've contacted the seller, now I just have to wait for a response. Again, thanks for all your input.
