Yeah. A support group.
Seriously, I got a DS last weekend and this game, and I can't stop playing it. I figured I'd hate it, but I was quite wrong. I can't seem to put it down. I'm really annoyed I can't seem to generate money fast to pay off my mortgage, but yeah, I guess it takes time.
Anybody else playing this. I don't know anything about the original 'Cube one. But you can talk about that here too.

I have no idea.
But it's fun, if that helps.

TONS of differences between this version and the Cube version.
Beyond the obvious graphical and "grid" feel to the Cube version;
Some of the buildings have been dropped, and new ones added, including the Police Station being dropped (which was only a cubical building that had the lost and found), but the addition to all the expansions to the museum. TONS of changes (I dont have time to list them all)
Also, TONS of new fish and insects. Heck, I've only caught around 20 fish and insects, all but given up on the paintings (due to most of them coming through Red)
If anyone has the USB connector, or ability to play online, just let me know. We could exchange friend codes, then you can get all the fruit.

This is one of the games I want a DS for. I played the GC version and was pleasently surprised. It's quite a fun and relaxing game to play and I loved smacking the other animals with the net. ;D

I tell them to give it 10 honest minutes. After that, the people won't stop. It's like a legal version of crack...

I love this game! A quick tip on making money; sell fruits that aren't native to your land. To do this, go to another person's town(when you get online) and take atleast 1 fruit from each type of fruit they have that you don't. When you go home, plant those fruits and let them grow into trees, then plant their fruit to get more trees, and keep going till you have an orchard and start selling them.
For example(this really happened with me); I started out with only cherry trees. I went to a friend's town and took 3 oranges, 3 pears, and 3 peaches and planted them. I no longer have money problems.
Also, chop down already grown trees to plant the fruits, they grow faster.
OR..........you can put 99,999 into your savings account, then save the game, then set your DS's clock to 100 years in the future, and get about 999,999 from the bank.

Also, the money rock is a great way to get money.
... fish work wonders, too. Find a Coelocanth (fish in the ocean when it's raining).
Plus, catching bees really helps, too. You are bound to get 3 a day, so just catch them all... tons of cash...
