Ever broken a record?

Either national or world?

I just started finger knitting a scarf and fully intended to break the Guinness record which is a little over two miles or 4.3 km.

I find it very relaxing and it's great when you're bored so I figured why the hell not.

The former record holder spent 8 years on his.

I mean, it's kind of a record, not like a super big deal or anything but a couple of years ago I scored 49 goals in one season (32 matches) for my football (soccer) team. Club record. The club has been active since 1925.

Then the 3rd match of the next season I got a kinda serious knee injury and quit. I made a 100% recovery but I just lost all motivation to play the sport so now I just watch it instead.

No world or national record yet though.

Quite a few years ago, we (my Dad and I) tried for a State Record for sucker (a type of junk fish), only because the state Record was like miniscule. Assuming because nobody ever thought of turning one in for a State Record.

Unfortunately quite a few people had the same idea.

In the early days of GTA Online I held a World Record for a race, couldn't tell you which one but it definitely told me I had broken a World Record.

Please note I do not care if it was a glitch and I will never return to this thread.

I'm pretty sure I have the record for most wins for my grade school chess team. I mean, I played at the highest level from 4th through 8th and literally never lost a game from 7th on. I was like the Triple H of chess. Ran the club for two years. I haven't played since then though, I might join my high school's team next year.

I, too, have a most goals record in soccer (football). But it was a team and league record. Most goals scored in one game. We won 11-2. I scored 10 of them.

I, too, have a most goals record in soccer (football). But it was a team and league record. Most goals scored in one game. We won 11-2. I scored 10 of them.

That is impressive! In some friendly game we played we won with 8-2. I scored 7 of those goals. All with my head. Their defenders were very short so it was basically Cross-goal cross-goal all the time.

I hold the record for longest reigning Geography Bee Champion in my Elementary School's history, 20 years and counting, former record: one year. Of course the fact that my school closed down after my class was promoted to middle school should be ignored.

I was in the crowd when Sacramento broke world record for loudest crowd roar in an indoor arena. We hit 126 decibels on our third attempt, this was video of our 2nd attempt. All in all we broke the record three times that night.

You bought that on vinyl? That piece of garbage came out when CDs were the fresh, new thing and vinyl was viewed as anachronistic rather than a callback media.

It was never recorded, but I had the world record on Red Mountain as Knuckles and in Perfect Dark, Pelagic II special agent after discovering a glitch.
