I am getting into the World Cup. I have watched soccer a few times before this year, and now that I am really getting into it, can someone please explain the time after 90 minutes? I mean I was watching the Saudi Arabia vs. Tunisia match just now, and Saudi Arabia was up 2-1 after 90 min. and there was still a clock going on in the corner of my screen, and then tunisia scored a goal. What is that? By the way, my favs are Australia, England and for some reason TOGO!!

If there have been stoppages for injuries or penalty kicks or streakers or whatever, the ref adds the time on that the game lost. Hence the added minutes.
p.s. Good to see you like England, you very wise.

Germany are looking good. But it's early days. You have a good chance.
England are better though.

Just for my fellow Americans, it is spelled "Football" in English speaking countries, and "Futbol" in Spanish speaking countries. There is no such thing as "Futball"
