"Change the channel Marge"
I liked Bart's old friends from school also, like Lewis, Richard Wendel, kid with gray hair and of course kid with spiffy sunglasses that kinda remind me of the glasses Doc were when he came to take Marty to the future. Also Üter, when he got caught by the Civil War reenactment actors I died laughing.

Yeah, I love that those kids still hang around in the background. Same with Ruth Powers, and the ultimate background character Princess Kashmir

Didn't count those ones, just recurring characters. But you've got love old Grimey... Oh my goodness, how could I forget Grimey! R.I.P Frank.

Quagmire almost swung my vote to FG, but Dale is greater by himself than all of the suppporting casts of the other shows combined.

You know what, I'll show Doug some love. Hey Arnold had some good ones too, minus the b**** with the unibrow. Dang, I forgot about Hey Arnold. That show has totally disappeared off the face of the earth. I miss Eugene and Stinky. And yes, Helga was a b****.

I voted for South Park. I am sure I could name as many supporting characters for SP as was listed for the Simpsons. I never got into The Simpsons. Not sure why, i just never did. As far as South Park goes, you gotta love Craig *flips off thread for no reason*. Other nominees include Ren & Stimpy and Beavis & Butthead.

Have to go with The Simpsons, just on their sheer depth. Family Guy's got a great cast of one-joke characters who are used well, and Dale Gribble is the freakin' man. But the town of Springfield is just so well-developed and so alive, there's just no way I can't vote for them.
Tangent 1: I want to make The Grampa Castellaneta show. Put Abe (Simpsons) and Phil (Hey Arnold!) in a car and you have a full season of hilariousness.
Tangent 2: Said it before, and I'll say it again: King of the Hill is the most underrated cartoon of our time. Period.

Ralph Wiggum was a good sixth man when his time came. But now he just shoots threes whenever his number's called. I hate Ralph Wiggum... hate, hate, hate, hate the unfunny waste of airtime that is Ralph Wiggum. I've never laughed at ANYTHING he's said or done. Ralph Wiggum now appearing in every episode is further evidence that The Simpsons has gone from being one of the funniest and most original shows ever to now being repetitive crap... should've been off the air 6 years ago when it first became unwatchable.

Any series that introduces a character named 'Disco Stu' with a denim jacket definitely deserves the title of 'greatest show with supporting characters'.

Simpsons altogether has one season of watchable episodes.
Family guy has the young gay guy, Ole Williams, A Chicken, Greased Up Deaf Guy, God, Adam West and Herbert the gay old pedophile.
No contest.

The Simpsons has the best supporting cast, although South Park is a close second. QFT

(damn, that takes me back) While we're in the Nicktoon mood, at least one vote should go to Rocko's Modern Life. You had Heffer, Filbert, and Mr. and Mrs. Bighead. I miss that show.
