With many cartoons, the power of animation allows creators to develop larger than average character bases. The Simpsons' cast has significantly grown over the years. Of all animated programs, which has the best cast of supporting characters and which one is your favorite? For this thread, try to overlook any of the main characters. This isn't about Homer Simpson, Peter Griffin, Eric Cartmen, etc. While I think Doug's cast is totally underrated, I'm more impressed with Southpark's cast. Gotta love Butters, Token, Pip, Timmy and Jimmy.

Have to say Simpsons here. But the support cast of Family Guy and South Park are awesome too.

Ahh I dunno. It's really hard to pick, this is a great list but I really wanna give a nod to King of the Hill, because Dale is one of the funniest characters ever.

The Simpsons has the best supporting cast, although South Park is a close second.

Ralph Wiggum was a good sixth man when his time came. But now he just shoots threes whenever his number's called.

Simpsons by a mile. I don't think I could come up with enough characters from any other series to fill a 52 card deck. Let me try with the Simpsons (yes, I'mma include the main 5 characters too). BRB.

Simpsons have great one-time characters like Frank Grimes, Big brother Tom and fellow Phil Hartman voiced character Lyle Lanley.
