The Snapple Lady is sweet. How do you get the addresses? There's a website called stararchive.com. $35 a year for 65,000+ adresses. Well worth it.

I dunno, the fun thing about having autographs (to me, anyway) is that you can say, "Hey, I met this person" rather than, "Hey, these two people can use the American Postal System, I'm one, and the other is famous!"

This used to be my #1 hobby, and as a result, I accumulated more than 3000 sigs through the mail (mostly of baseball players). Got some good ones too. Sold most of 'em on ebay though.

i've only gotten 3 autographs(Beverley Mitchell, Leonard Nimoy, and jerico) i've met more famous people than that but i dont usually carry a pen and paper or a photo of every celeb around with me so i've missed out on a few.

Actually I used to have a weird variation of this hobby, in trying to collect old MGM studio stills from the 1930's even if the autograph was a stamp. Some stars never signed their own name, some always did, and sometimes the still actually commented on this or problems taking the pic, what it was for, etc.

I want to make it clear I'm not razzing on you, Animaniac, with my previous reply. It just seems like the autographs garnered through the mail don't have the same 'magic' as ones gained face-to-face.

I only like the Fairly Odd Parents one. Yeah, it's a nice autograph. I also like how he wrote "best wishes". Don't know if it was intentional but it made the graph. Oh and Toom, I'm not a stalker, but I may be coming for you! (insert cheesy evil laughter).

Ok, I plan on sending more requests out today but I need your help with suggestions. I already have one to re-send (David Kaufman a.k.a Danny Phantom) but I need 4 more and I'm drawing a blank. I'm mainly looking to send requests to people in these fields: Pop culture Icons Voice Actors Game show personalities

Unfortunately , many big stars do not sign authentically thru the mail Stars who don't sign , most use auto pen or pre prints : de Niro (auto pen , even getting it In Person is prob quite tough) J Pesci (ap , ditto) S Stone M Pfeiffer N Kidman J Nicholson H Ford (very tough IP , often refuses to sign) M Cross (waited 3-4 yrs for a stinking auto pen H Locklear T Hatcher (reckon the other housewives are tough too...) A Hopkins (totally refuses IP , tired of people ebaying them) S Connery (waited 6 yrs , no reply. Often cranky signer IP) P Presley J-Lo Madonna (forget it , not a chance lol) Robin Williams (his auto pens are very sophisticated) S Stallone (ditto , difficult to tell if legit) J Travolta (ditto , prob sign some items if one's very lucky) A Schwarzenegger (stopped signing several yrs ago , very very slim chance he'd sign) C Eastwood (ditto) For the most part I stay away from the big stars as chances are very very slim.... I guess C Walken might send legit ones , but it'll prob take close to a yr as he's highly busy.
