From Yahoo MusicEminem has agreed to appear in a new film as a bounty hunter, according to reports.
The rap star, who starred in the semi-autobiographical 8 Mile in 2003 to much acclaim, is understood to have agreed to appear in a movie adaptation of an old TV series.
Have Gun - Will Travel was originally broadcast in the 1950s and followed the antics of a gunfighter-for-hire. Apparently the program will be updated for the 21st century and will see Eminem adopting the role of bounty hunter, perhaps in his hope city of Detroit.
There are also suggestions that Eminem, who has expressed a desire to pursue new projects in recent months, will score the soundtrack for the movie.

Why can't rappers just rap, and let actors act. It is their job for Christ sake.
I hate how these rappers have to do everything. Act, Rap, produce, clothes companies, record companies.

Some rappers wind up being really good actors: Ice-T, Ice Cube, Ludacris, and Tyrese Gibson (I know, not exclusively a rapper, but a rapper nonetheless) being, I think, the best examples. They've all had some really good, sometimes great, performances. Not that their being rappers has anything to do with their acting talent. And if some folks want to do a lot of things, is that wrong? Renaissance men are usually respected. It takes a lot to be able to do so much.

Not to mention have their own fragrance, their own champagne or vodka, their own video games, etc. I'm waiting for 50 Cent to sell out Krusty Style. In the next 5 years, I expect to go to a Wal Mart or a grocery store and see Fiddy-O's cereal, the Fiddy early pregnancy test (WARNING! May cause birth defects), the Fiddy Straight Thuggin' Strength Hemmrhoid Creme, and have his own sandwich at McDonald's (the "Beef 'Wich or Die Tryin'")

You're months premature for doing that, Alvarez...heh heh. Gotta have it go through the movie motions first...unless it goes straight-to-video...or if it gets made at all. RELAX!
