Or was it always the other way? I find it funny that as many guys who turned babyface on Bobby Heenan, it almost went down the same way - with Heenan's hot-headed impulsive mouth getting him in trouble because he would cross a line in berating or demeaning his charges. Andre, Perfect, Orndorff, Rooster all got tired of him belittling them. Studd and Patera turned because he neglected them. Even Hercules turned because of the way Heenan (and DiBiase) was phrasing things in the transaction. The only other two people who turned on him during his WWF run were Race, who was wholesale replaced by Heenan while recuperating, and Luger, who shoved Heenan aside after the latter tried to make himself part of Luger's slam challenge arrival. I can't think of any other turns? Maybe in his AWA days? Seem to recall him turning on Bruiser once, but can't remember the details.

He turned on Andre after the Colossal Connection lost to Demolition at Wrestlemania 6. He blamed Andre for the loss, slapped him, and even yelled "I'm the f***ing boss!".

I think you can make a case for Mr. Perfect's face turn when he agreed to team with Randy Savage at the 1992 Survivor Series. Perfect was thinking about it and Heenan was trying to talk him out of it and basically saying that he should stay in Ric Flair's shadow. Heenan slapped him, which helped Perfect make up his mind and do it.

Heenan was a professional - when he let a guy go, like the Brooklyn Brawler, he did so quietly off-camera.

He did the same thing to Blackjack Lanza that he did to Andre. Seemed to be a standard way of turning his former wrestlers into faces.

If only Heenan had managed Sting, he totally would have turned on him.

I'm pretty sure he slapped Terry Taylor.... which somehow changed him into an actual rooster

What he did to Andre or Hennig doesn't really count as turning on them. That would be the equivalent of a boss abusing his employee, then the employee quitting.

When the Brooklyn Brawler lost to Terry Taylor, didn't he turn on him?

Would allowing Steve McMichael to join the Horseman at GAB 1996 count? I mean, they won the match but at what cost? Heenan was so anxious to get Mongo out of the broadcast booth, he'd pawn him off on his own team and ruin their proud legacy. Hardly being Fair to Flair in that instance.

Bobby Heenan is an upstanding human being, and all those who turned on him were a bunch of ingrates!

Bobby Heenan is an upstanding human being, and all those who turned on him were a bunch of ingrates! Not only that, the man was a broadcast journalist of the highest level. Why would he sacrifice his integrity for such silly petty reasons? I won't have The Brain's good name sullied.

Would Hercules count? I mean, he sold him into slavery or at least tried...
That's not an outright turn, but a little harsh by now or 17th century standards
