Remember Survivor Series 2000 when Austin spent a whole match punching Triple H in the face and then picked HHH up with a crane (HHH was in a car) and dropped it from about 30 feet? There's kind of an online joke where HHH showed up the next night on RAW, or maybe the RAW the following week, with just like a plaster on his head and otherwise no ill effects. The moment is funny enough on it's own, but coupled with the idea of Triple H back the next night sporting a plaster makes it hilarious. Is this exaggerated? How soon did HHH actually come back, and did he come back with just a plaster on his head to sell the devastating car wreck he'd been in?

Taped ribs is all you need. These are wrestlers, they're trained for this.

He came back 8 days later on Raw, quite literally wearing a plaster on his head, to cost Austin his match with Angle.

Worse still - Triple H gets the better of Austin, beats him down, rips his shirt off and reveals ZERO damage to his body.

Was that a championship match on RAW, Austin vs Kurt?

He didn't wrestle on TV until Armageddon so maybe the intention was there to sell his injuries. First match back in a Six Man Hell in a Cell though lol.

If it was Cena, he would have dropped Edge and Christian from the crane to prove that he was OK.

Man, I told my parents HHH had died when this happened. I didn't like HHH, so I sounded quite chirpy about it. I was highly disappointed to know he was alive 8 days later.
I was a messed up child.

Triple H was my favourite wrestler at this time as a 12-year-old mark and I was really concerned that this was The End. When he came back 8 days later I was like "see?! See how amazing he is?! He's back already!"

To be fair, the exact same thing happened to me one and I only scratched my elbow.

Reminds me of JBL driving into Cenas face, Cena was back the next week.

I remember when it happened, the commentators were really silent and acting like he was killed or at least seriously injured. The next night on Raw, Stephanie came out and said that he was perfectly fine, which got massive boos and possibly a "bullshit" chant. To be fair, it was warranted as it was pretty preposterous and made the whole moment pointless. Dude couldn't even bother to sell a near-death experience?

This will always be hilarious to me. It was almost the equivalent of having a someone shot point-blank in the head and coming back the next week. The crane drop would clearly kill anything inside of the car.

I'm going to say it right now, I hate any angle in wrestling involving cars, trucks, ambulances, etc...
Vehicles and wrestling don't mix.
