As a freshman in high school I worked at the public library. My schedule was three hours a day, twice a week and I got paid $1.55 an hour.

I worked at Walmart for about a month. It was mostly horrible. One assistant manager would tell me to do one thing, and then another would come by and tell me to stop doing that and do something else; then the first one would return and yell at me for not doing what he/she had me doing before, and so on. The last straw was when we were supposed to unload a truck in the back, but there was a small sheet of corrugated metal blocking the dock area. The manager wouldn't let us move the sheet of metal by hand because she was afraid someone might get cut, even with gloves on, so we had to stand around in 100+ degree heat for about 30 minutes until a forklift was available to move the sheet of metal. I was so beside myself at the sheer stupidity of the situation that I quit at the end of the day.

I was the teen of a thousand horrible jobs.
I was a ranch hand and as it turns out me and my buddy wee getting screwed sideways on pay. $35-50 for three days of throwing hay, worming/ticking cattle, moving cows, slopping hogs and the worst...taking care of the chickens. At the time (12yrs old) $50 was incredible. Had I known better...
I was a monkey for a team of guys who set up trailer houses and moved them. A monkey is the smallest guy on the crew who gets to climb thru things and turn nuts, screws and jacks to even the lay
I cleaned massive parking lots after closing at Malls, Kmart, Target, stadiums. Some of the guys got higher than giraffe nuts off of weed but it was cool. No oversight and decent pay $300 a night split a few ways
Bus boy Bar back Cook all rounded me out

Call Centre Monkey
Basically taking phone calls from teacher's ordering free school supplies and processing the order for them. I hated it. The dullest job I have ever had and the company was very corrupt. Other than the management level/supervisors, they had a knack of firing anyone as soon as they turned 18 and replacing them with 16 year olds (because they could pay 16-18 olds much less) so there was a big turn around of people turning 18 getting released for any petty reason. I got fired a week after my 18th for, and this is no lie, taking too much time going to the water cooler which they claimed was me shirking my duties.
My brother got fired from the same company for blocking the toilets with a massive shit and a tonne of toilet paper which they claimed he did deliberate to cause trouble.

My first job was at a Mister Donut. The manager was a nice man and that particular Mister Donut was owned by his mother. One day the owner came to the store and she was a dead ringer for Mother Carlson from WKRP in Cincinnati. I had to really try hard to not laugh at the irony of it all.

When I was a senior, I had to choose between working at the KFC mobile until or get a co-op job. I found a dress shop to work at a few days a week.

Worked half a day in the tobacco fields priming. After that, I moved to the kilns, where I was responsible for shaking sticks of tobacco to get any loose leaves out. Early mornings, six days a week and got my stereo out of it.

I used to fix dvd players for a little bit of cash. I had no experience doing it, but I'd just tinker around with them until they worked. Didn't work always, and looking back it was pretty unsafe, but it got me some spending money, so it was something.
