Or it seems he has no interest: www.pwmania.com/jake-roberts-news-from-las-vegas-goldust-talks-wwe-changes-stings-son-seth-rollins- Scout.com has an article about Sting’s son Steven Borden, who is a senior & tight-end at the University of Kentucky. It doesn’t look like Borden will be following in his father’s footsteps as one of his coaches Vince Marrow commented: “I was blown away when I first found out who his dad was and they came on their official visit. But you can tell that some kids just don’t want to live in their father’s shadow. He wants to write that own chapter of his life. And, I’m telling you, the kid is really putting in the work. He wants to be a great football player.”

Considering most wrestlers end up dead before age 50, why the hell would he want to be one?

It doesn't look like Aurora Rose is going to have milk with her waffles. Some dude commented: "I was blown away when I first found out who her dad was and they came on their official visit to Denny's. But you can tell that some kids just don’t want to live in their father’s shadow. She wants to order her own drink off the menu. And, I’m telling you, the kid is really putting in the work. She really likes orange juice.”

He doesn't want all his friends to turn on him.

Just wait till his teammates tackle him as he's running to the end zone.

A friend of mine involved in the phone hacking told me this is how it went down:
"Son, come with me to the WWE training facility, could you grab my bat?" "Sure, Dad."
Then his son hit him with the bat and took off his dress shirt to reveal an NWO tee before he took the car keys out of Sting's pockets and drove off to work for GFW.

Just think of the epic feud with David Flair we're being denied by this kid.

I mean, it would make sense that one of his football coaches would say that he wants to focus on being a great football player rather than a pro wrestler. He probably is more focused on football and making a career out of that rather than pro wrestling. But I do not think that means he would have no interest in it if his career does not pan out (and that is likely). It is a lot of potential money to leave on the table considering his athleticism and pedigree will give him a lot of opportunities. I just hope he is happy at whatever he does and finds success. I would like to see him try it though.

Sting himself said on JR's podcast (the Ross Report - available for free on podcast one and iTunes) that his son had no interest in wrestling.

I'm pretty sure Sting's oldest kid Garrett said on twitter that when they were in that age most kids are really into wrestling their dad was not a full time performer and they didn't really know how big of a name he was until he was they were in high school

He doesn't want all his friends to turn on him. Now I want to see Ole Anderson jumping him from behind during practice.

In an ironic twist he will become a singer, while Gordon Sumner's kid will become a wrestler.

A friend of mine is a huge fan of Kentucky. I bet his mind is blown the son of one of his all-time favorite wrestlers is the tight end.
Considering Sting had the same aspirations himself of being a football star, maybe he's just being prodded in that direction.

He is, though, fantastically smitten with real estate.

In a fateful turn.... the electricity goes out during a football game, and a shadowy figure we all remember as the Black Scorpion appears on the monitor...

I wanted to see him show up in the WWE and do a "Romeo and Juliet" angle with Charlotte.
