I was severely underwhelmed by this show.
Lefort was screwed. Why did everyone ignore that Enzo was grabbing the tight? Not even Byron Saxon brought it up, and he was trying way too hard to be the heel commentator.

This is s'posed to be put up on Hulu, right? Doesn't Hulu have a slightly longer delay than other services?

This is s'posed to be put up on Hulu, right? Idk if Hulu puts up the specials. Did they put up Arrival or the first Takeover?

Somehow I managed to avoid all spoilers (YAY) and I'm really glad I can watch this show today as if it were live. I thought I would take notes as I watch to share with y'all. Here we go:
That pre-show set is fantastic. Really makes this show look important.
SASHA BANKS IS THE BOSS!!! OMG Her pre-show segment was incredible! Alex Riley is so rachet he needs to shut up.
The interview with Zayn, Neville, Breeze and Kidd was great. The pre-show really did a great job of hyping me up for the show. The Tyler Breeze impersonator among the crowd was great too.
I love the glitchy graphics they use for Takeover. They even glitched up the "Then. Now. Forever." open which was a really nice touch.
Sin Cara is so watered down now. He sucks. In fact, this opening tag team match kind of sucks. That is, until Kalisto was tagged in. He's great. Hey new champs! Alright. Glad they talk too.
I guess it's time for the Ascension to move up to Main Event/Superstars to do battle with Rybaxel.
Baron Corbin: Wow what a look. What the hell what that? That was a Goldberg-esque debut. His tattoos are, um, interesting.
Tyson Kidd has done his best work in NXT. Fact.
I couldn't give a crap less about this hair vs. hair match. I do like the new theme for Enzo and Cass. They managed to get me a little hyped. Enzo certainly has some personality. How you doin?
I don't know much about Kenta, but I'm excited to see how he does. Hideo Itami, huh? That's going to take some time getting used to. I wonder how long it will take the smarky NXT crowd to stop chanting "Kenta." Probably never. Now wonder what Kevin Steen's new name will be. Oh joy.
I'm excited for Bull Dempsey vs. Mojo Rawley for all the wrong reasons. I like how the match started. And then it ended. What the crap.
They're plugging Buzzfeed now? Wait, a Buzzfeed plug? lol that sounds kinky.
Oooh I like the aprontron. Took me a while to notice it.
I really like Bailey, I'm glad Charlotte retained just because she's better. The way Charlotte utilizes that Figure 4 headlock is tremendous. She whiffed on the moonsault though. The announcers did a great job selling this match I thought. I'm ready for Sasha to step up now as THE BOSS of NXT.
Great main event match. I liked the story they told with that match. Is Neville turning heel? I guess we'll see. Tyler Breeze had some great near falls. I still wish Tyler had won, but his time will come I'm sure. I can't argue against a Neville/Zayn feud for the title.
Overall, this was a great show. NXT is still the best wrestling show. The title scene is stacked, and with Kenta/Hideo, Steen, and Devitt coming down the pipe the future looks bright indeed.

The three live NXT shows may be the best trilogy of live PPV's I've seen in a year.

This show was another reason as to why I've found it hard to like Enzo and Cass: they promised shaving Lefort, and they didn't do it. Babyfaces that don't live up to promises like that are bad babyfaces. They were still entertaining though, so they've got that going for them, but it's hard to like them when I felt let down by their actions.
Show was great. Perfectly paced and lead to the exciting finale with the fatal-4-way - the true peak of the show and maybe the whole year for NXT.
I have a lot of faith in a HHH-led product. Maybe it's truly time Vince steps down.

Aye, Lefort fled and threw Marcus to the wolves in a sense. What were Enzo & Cass supposed to do? Grab a cameraman and hunt Lefort down to shave his head?

The whole thing seems ongoing, not finished.

They found him and let him get away ... again. While Marcus was again thrown to the wolves. Bad babyface booking.

The crowd were happy and Enzo/Cass were the most over thing on the show outside Sami Zayn so..... not really.

Watching at home though, it was severly disappointing - I was promised a Lefort head shaving and I didn't get a Lefort head shaving. They didn't do what was advertised and it sucked the life out of my enjoyment of them.

I think if you're that easily ruined from enjoying something then a WWE product isn't for you. Breaking Bad or something is likely more your thing, lol.

Breaking Bad is my favourite show, you know me well. I've always had my doubts about this act and they still haven't convinced me. Them not living up to the promise they made for weeks isn't helping their cause in my eyes. I can see the charisma and the marketability, but I also see a bunch of obnoxious jerks that I can't relate too and I can't get into a character like that - especially when they're constantly letting you down. It'd be fine if they were heels, but when they're meant to be liked, I don't understand it. They are terribly booked.

Now his husband won't love him anymore. Who will blow his hard head now?

It's WWE, just be happy that match even took place. Yes, because I should just be happy that they give me crap. Okay. It could have been typical WWE and they forget they even booked it like the Cryme Tyme/R-Truth and Fandango tag title shots.

They might forget it after this. I don't know yet because I didn't pay that much attention to the spoilers. I also thought the Enzo/Lefort match was the worst on the show. Talk about a boring match, and I don't really know who's to blame for it. I haven't watched much Lefort at all so he may suck for all I know, but he didn't impress me at all and Enzo was just boring to watch in the ring. I hope he makes some drastic changes to his ring work before he gets called up to the main roster.
