Just saw a match where Kofi flipped his lid on Ziggler after Vickie interfered once to many times. Faces are to squeaky clean, they should show some edge.
Then there is waiting for the guy you just knocked down to get back up. Wrestlers should always show they're determined to keep the upper hand. Elbows to the back of the head, kicks in the gut, don't give them time to catch a breath, stay on them.

I wish heels cheated more often. Faces outside of the main event look weak because they're always losing cleanly.

Cheating for the sake of cheating would be nice.
KO'd someone with your finisher? Hook the tights anyway. Guy just tapped out to your awesome submission hold? Grab the ropes til the ref threatens to reverse the result.

Refs enforcing and establishing rules so heels can get heat by cheating, run in without music playing, talent in the back not booked on the show should be in street clothes not in their gear.

Back when the Rockers were teasing their split, Michaels was KO'd in a match with Flair and Jannetty put him back in the ring. Flair covered him and put his feet on the ropes. Not because he needed to. But because he's Ric Flair and he can. Loved it.

I wish a heel would take a baby face outside of the ring, single out a little kid, take the face over to him and say to the kid "Is this your boy? Is this your favorite?" and punch the face. Then say to the little kid "Watch this" and run at the face, only to get backdropped on the floor so the kid could get to laugh at the heel after he got his comeuppance.

I used to do this a lot when I "wrestled" in Grade school lol

I wish heels cheated more often. Faces outside of the main event look weak because they're always losing cleanly. Batista and Jericho were talking on Jericho's podcast about that subject a couple of weeks ago. Apparently, damn near every heel tactic has been banned in WWE. They said shoving the ref into the ropes to knock a guy down is now banned, as are any and all variations of a low blow. I think next to go will be eye pokes, which at that point, heels are completely useless.

I would much rather they keep all of the cheating, and ban "Your local something or other sucks!" promos.

When's the last time you actually saw a heel lay a hand on the ref? I can't recall it happening at all in recent memory.

Heels acting like heels, instead of like cool revolutionaries.
More cheating, less snark.

Everyone fits one of a few molds. Part of what made Mr. Perfect so good, especially at the beginning of his WWE run, was that he was an unrepentant asshole who was so damned good that he won without cheating. You wanted to cheer him because he was the best, but he was such an obvious dick that you just wanted him to be less than perfect so that you could boo him. He then started feuding with Hogan and booing him became natural, especially since he started acting a little more like a traditional heel at the time. I still would have liked for more heels that were so damned good that they were too good to cheat but too much of a dick to cheer (Angle was the last one that did that particularly well).

Something other than a rest hold.
I've always liked the subtlety of when a wrestler covers up being winded through anything other than a rest hold.
For example, when you feel tired, rather than go into a headlock, you roll out of the ring and start talking smack with the fans or announcers. Or knock your opponent down then climb the turnbuckle and pose. Anything to hold our interest.

Jericho. 2008. And currently Seth Rollins one of the few heels who gets legitimate heel reaction from me.
