Released people you've already forgotten about

I heard 'Cult of Personality' on the radio coming home from work this afternoon, and it really drove home the fact that I don't miss CM Punk at all anymore, which feels weird as there was a time not long ago when he was my favorite thing in WWE. Nowadays, unless a thread mentions him on this site or the fans on Raw start chanting for him, I find myself not thinking about him at all.


On a similar note, until I looked into the TNA section, I had completely forgotten that Brodus Clay had been released, and was trying to remember when the last time I saw him was.


What about you all? Who, in the last few years of leaving the company, do you not miss at all or barely (if ever) even think about anymore?

I miss most of them.

It's sad because even if these guys are still wrestling and getting enough bookings to make a full time living, they're working for very obscure promotions that no one knows about or has easy access to, so even the most hardcore wrestling nerds just assume they retired from wrestling.

Honestly, there's no one who's gone that I really miss, and I say that as a huge CM Punk mark. I miss Daniel Bryan right now, but he's not released...hmmm...

I miss 3MB! But that took like four minutes to think of, so I guess I have forgotten them.

JR. That story just doesn't add up. I think Vince finally could not handle someone who could not only work fine on his own, but probably does his absolute best work when trying to dodge Vince on the headset as much as possible, or when Vince isn't around. When I hear about Jim Ross I automatically think he's in the back somewhere.

I mean I know he wasn't released a week ago but still fairly recent in the scheme of things.
