When I watch certain matches, such as Hogan against Andre or Hogan against Savage, Ventura rightly points out faults with the heel, and overall is a great commentator. Can anyone recommend some more matches where he does great commentary?
For King Jerry Lawler and Bobby Hennan, I can name a ton of great matches, and PPVs in general where their commentary is amazing. But for Ventura....I seem to be unable to do so.

Survivor Series 1989. Him and Gorilla have a good running bit about how when it's guys they don't like breaking the rules, it's cheating, but when their favourites do it, it's "survival".
The Hulkamaniacs v The Million Dollar Team he's especially good talking about how Hogan only won because 3/4 of the other team were DQ'd for beating him up.
Roddy's Rowdies v Rude's Brood, he has good stuff about the heels being the sophisticated wrestling team, and the faces' main offence being biting.
The main event, with Heenan in the ring as a competitor, there are some really good bits, when Gorilla refuses to even recognise Heenan as a team member, pointing out Heenan's strategy, the fact he gets a fall, then complaining about Warrior being a coward fighting a manager when they're the last 2 guys left.
Pretty much the whole card him and Gorilla are on fire.

I think it was the 2nd Royal Rumble when Andre the Giant came in, and Jesse says "ITS GONNA TAKE SOME DOIN' TO GET HIM OUTTA THERE!", I don't know if that is considered "great" but I couldn't stop laughing when he said that

Everything the man did from 1986 til the moment Vince fired him was pure gold.

"Why does every Vinnie I know wear a cheap suit and a pound of Brylcreem in his hair?" - Superbrawl II
And of course his rant about using a chair outside the ring from SummerSlam.

He was good enough that he never had any big defining moments because his commentary was always extremely solid.

It was misogynist as all hell, but his commentary during the Rhodes/Sapphire vs Savage/Sherri match at Wrestlemania VI is gold, especially when he starts complaining about some very unflattering camera shots of Sapphire.
"ANY angle but that one! ANY angle!"
He's in a class by himself as far as heel commentators go.

He was good enough that he never had any big defining moments because his commentary was always extremely solid. You can't pick just one moment. Because five minutes later, you'll watch a match thT you've forgotten about and Jesse will say something that will make you go, "oh yeah, I had forgotten how cool and funny that was!"

He's just one of the greatest in terms of just getting what the buisness is about. Everything he did was pure class. He's the greatets colour commentator ever. The guy is just so cool and suave and often correct in what he is saying, but you still never really want to root for him. I don't know how he did it, but he's just the best.

I really love how honest he is, he'll point out the tech wrestlers and the ones that are just brawlers...
Unlike some commentators who call every single wrestler a "martial arts master"

I love how irate he is during the mixed tag match at Wrestlemania 6, the babyfaces have a load of cheating antics such as Dusty attacking Sherri first when its mixed rules and later Elizabeth's interference and Jesse just goes off.
I do miss the old school commentary with the likes of Jesse and Gorilla, just simple stuff like discussing the winners share of the purse giving such meaning to a simple match, or managers influencing such as the guidance they give or even down to people not using the tag rope when tagging in. I miss that stuff

To me the greatness of Jesse Ventura was that he didn't insult the fans' intelligence. He was great opposite Monsoon, because Gorilla was always exaggerating something or unabashed in his support for Hogan. He said a lot of heelish things like the "Chico Santana" stuff, but he was also the one guy who could say what the fan was thinking and get away with it.
The only color man I know of who compares to Jesse is Roddy Piper. I remember Piper being a face, but still making fun of the Ultimate Warrior "prancing like a pony" and shaking the ropes. It's a shame that we can't have this style of honesty in wrestling now, because everyone is such a shill for the product.

I got a laugh from him when he said this line about Vannah White.
"I know right where Vannah is, but I can't give my phone number over the air."

I think it was Survivor Series '89 where the Killer Bees are getting killed by the Islanders, so they put on these masks and do a switch which leads to the match ending with a sunset flip by the illegal man (a very rare tainted win for baby faces of that era). Jesse just loses his mind (kayfabe justifiably so) and goes on this big tirade, punctuating it with "that's a bunch of CRAP!" Nobody EVER used that word on the air back then.
Jesse was always on, always focused, and never mailed it in from what I remember, unlike Heenan, who gets by on some memorable performances (RR92) but had more than his share of moments where it was obvious he wasn't fully invested. Ventura was so entertaining that I would watch any match just to hear his input.
Also, one of my favorite Jesse moments was when he was calling a women's match involving the Jumping Bomb Angels and gives Vince all kinds of grief for not knowing their names. Vince meekly offers that they refer to the one in pink trunks as "Pink" and the one in the red trunks as "Red." Jesse then deadpans, "Well, that's real clever."
Another match from SNME between Hogan and Mr. Perfect, Hogan tosses the genius over the top after the match. Vince says, "It looks like the Genius is SMARTING, Jesse!" Jesse goes, "Oh, that's very good, McMahon, who wrote that one for ya?" Awesome stuff.

A small but very funny moment from Wrestlemania IV when Ricky Steamboat brought his infant son with him to the ring and was trying to find someone to hand him to before the match.
Gorilla: Steamboat looking for a place to put the little dragon... Jesse: Maybe he's gonna chuck him over the top. Gorilla: Will you be serious?!

Wrestlemania IV, after Hogan and Andre were eliminated.
Gorilla: In my opinion Hulk Hogan is the greatest professional sportsman in the world today
Jesse: No he ain't, cuz he ain't the champion
Gorilla: Title is still vacant, so until a champion is named, he's still the best
Jesse: For another hour and a half then

At wrestlemania 5 between Hogan and Savage at one point Macho pulls Miss Elizabeth between himself and Hogan and Jesse says something along the line of Miss Elizabeth deserves a punch in the nose for all the trouble she's caused.
