So Cena is facing Ambrose at HIAC, and the winner gets to face Rollins in the cell. Obviously, Rollins vs. Ambrose is the logical match and should have been made on its own, but imagine how awesome it'd be for Ambrose to pull off both wins, even with Cena shoehorned into this..... sound familiar?
Enter WM XXX. Bryan vs. the WWE Champion was the obvious match for the show since Summerslam 2013, but it almost didn't happen. Triple H got involved, then Bryan had to win one match to get to the other. Now it's happening again at HIAC. Only problem is, Ambrose is no Bryan (yet), he's facing Super Cena, and this isn't WM, the feel-good show.
Some wondered what would happen if HHH won and how much heat there'd be. What if Cena wins? Is WWE that stupid? Will we get ANOTHER DQ finish? I think we've seen enough of Reigns, Cena, Orton, Kane, Rollins, Ambrose, and Triple H all being in some sort of nexus of feuds with each other for the past 6 months. I think Ambrose needs to finally beat Rollins, and this cluster of feuds needs to end. Elevate Cesaro, Wyatt, Ziggler, Sheamus, Miz, a heel Mark Henry, anything to change things up.
Will we get the finale to Rollins vs. Ambrose we've been waiting for, or will the slump WWE's created climax with a nightmare scenario of Cena winning it all again? What do you think?

Note about the DQ thing, from SmackDown. {Spoiler}It'd be pretty impressive if they found a way to have a DQ in a pole match.

I wish Cena would just go away for a while.
Even the Authority can't do much to stop him at this point.

I definitely see the connection between this and WM. I hope WWE is willing to do what is practically unthinkable: have Cena actually put someone over.

Cena's always the Joker in these types of situations. No matter who he's against, no matter what would be "good for business" to fans and no matter what we see on the screen, he's the guy where we always assume the worst can happen simply because he's now inserted into a feud. Now it could make sense and Ambrose can end up rising up from this but it's hard to pick. Bryan for example beat Cena, the Authority screwed him over and he wasn't even going to really get the title back at that point, that was supposed to be it before the fans revolted. Here though? I'm not really sure where the company stands on Ambrose.
Around the end of August, a report came out about officials giving props to Ambrose for gaining fans but they still didn't see him as a main event level talent. Now? Who knows, all I know is that another report came out which said Ambrose/Cena will have a real feud down the line and with all of these things said, with Cena in the picture it's hard to imagine everything being "ok" for Ambrose. Given this is the wwe, given they know who they want to push, who really know.
It's a risky situation all around.

The idea of Dean getting ANYTHING out of this is immediately thrown out the window now that I read that spoiler.

What if.... {Spoiler}{Spoiler} ... they did the thing like they once did with Del Rio and Ziggler where neither can grab the contract somehow and it becomes a triple threat?

In that case the first match served no purpose other than to kill time that could've gone towards a match for two other guys.

I can see what you mean about the similarities, but I suppose where the difference lies is that during the Daniel Bryan vs the Authority feud, Triple H was always a big part of that feud. It made perfect sense for Triple H to face Daniel Bryan at Wrestlemania. They had to make big changes to the card to accommodate Daniel Bryan winning the title, and they had to turn Batista heel due to crowd reaction.
John Cena being shoehorned into the hottest angle in WWE at the moment is far less justifiable. It is purely because Cena has nothing to do until Brock is back, and I think him facing Rusev now or something else would have been a far better option that having him get in the way of Ambrose vs Rollins. If Ambrose beats Cena and then Rollins in one night it could launch him to the moon, but I have concerns about how this is going to play out.
