Ambrose will need Bryan-type reactions consistently from now to Royal Rumble to get any chance at being in that main event. Dean might be the most popular face right now, but not nearly as over as Bryan was exactly a year ago. I think Ambrose is about as over as Bryan was. The difference is Bryan had that easily chantable "YES" that everyone could get in on. When the crowd was doing that it was louder than even Hogan reactions in the 80s. But that doesn't mean Bryan was more over than Hogan. The jokes about "the chant is more over than Bryan" weren't exactly right obviously, but it was heading in that direction. Note how the crowd goes nuts for Brie Bella when she does it. I say f*** it and make Ambrose's catchphrase "nope" in kayfabe. Go ahead and put the nope gif in his tron too. Then there can be a YES!/NOPE! situation when the two face off. WWE can go ahead and close up shop after that because it'll be downhill from there.

I hope the main event is a triple threat with Rollins (c) vs Ambrose vs Reigns. But there's no way they'd let Ambrose win over Reigns.

I wouldn't want him to win it at Mania, that's a bit too... sports entertainment. He's a bit gritty for that.

I'd rather see Dean Ambrose take the title off of Lesnar than anyone else.
Reigns may have the "look", but Ambrose by far has a more interesting persona.

If HHH isn't busy with Rocky, I'd say have Ambrose face him at WM 31. I'm serious, this could be a great match with a very interesting storyline heading into it. Sign me up for Ambrose/HHH No Holds Barred/No DQ/Ambrose's Rules or whatever you want to call it.

It depends on who makes the call.
If it's Vince, Reigns wins the title.
If it's HHH, Ambrose wins the title.

At the rate of people getting injured/leaving, I wouldn't be shocked if Stardust is the main-event of WrestleMania. I agree, injuries to legends, main eventers and upper-midcaders is the best case scenario. If 15 guys get hurt and I get to see Stardust in the main event of WrestleMaina, I think we could all agree that it was totally worth it.

Next year, maybe. For this year, I think not. There is still a lot of juice in this feud with Rollins, and possibly even a feud with Cena as well. Cena vs. Ambrose at Mania in a street fight/lights-out type match would be incredible. If Ambrose stays over, they could make him the top face at Mania by putting him over Cena, OR rip off the Hart/Austin dynamic and have Cena win as Ambrose passes out from pain/exhaustion/blood loss and keep attacking Ambrose after the match, finally showing a definitive chink in Cena's moral armor.

Waaaaaaaaaay too soon to tell. Honestly we won't have a good idea about the main event picture for at least a few months. While Roman Reigns is likely still the plan at this point, considering what happened last year I think it is definitely possible that they could change their minds if the crowd seems more favorable towards Ambrose leading up to the event, and if Dean's merchandise and house show numbers start exceeding Roman's own.

This coming 'Mania will be Reigns' time, barring another setback.
The year after belongs to Ambrose.
