So we've all eyed wrestlemania well in advance and kinda assumed Reigns would beat Lesnar. Or maybe Bryan.
But Ambrose has gotten more over than anyone (probably) expected.
So now what? It's still mid october so the rumble is a few months away and wrestlemania even longer. Can they go ahead and push Ambrose more and will people be into it? I saw they put new Ambrose merch out to replace that shitty white shirt he had. How does that work out in general though? It's fine for TV but do kids like Ambrose such that they can push Ambrose for a longer period? That's always been a goto with Cena since Cena is easily likeable with kids. Will an 8 year old boy find Ambrose cool?
And Reigns will be coming back before long. How does that go? Turning Roman heel sounds kinda wonky cuz that means a bigger talking role for him when he's best "just shutting up and letting people like him" ala Jeff Hardy.

I still think Daniel Bryan will return in time to rightfully win the title, or WWE will screw up and have Reigns win it. I don't think Ambrose is ready either, but he definitely deserves a big WM match. Maybe one last one with Rollins, depending on who wins in the cell.

If HHH isn't busy with Rocky, I'd say have Ambrose face him at WM 31. I'm serious, this could be a great match with a very interesting storyline heading into it.

Ambrose right now reminds me kind of like cena in 2004. Cena was a midcarder on smackdown but he was pretty much the main focus of the show in October of that year. Ditto for ambrose right now. Plus they both went to film movies during this time and came back huge! I think Romans' injury and ambrose getting over this much is Definetly going to change things

I can't envision it.
I could envision it with Bryan. That's a WWE-type story. Against all odds, the underdog hero finds a way to achieve his ultimate boyhood dream, and it's epic and beautiful and inspiring and yada yada yada.
With Ambrose, I really have trouble seeing how WWE would frame it. What kind of story is there to tell with Ambrose wining the title at Mania? That's not to say one can't be invented. But for WWE, their babyface Mania triumphs are done a certain way, and I don't know how Ambrose fits that mold and if WWE is willing to break it. Austin had to overcome the boss in his way, WWE already did that last year with Bryan, so I don't want to see that type of story again either.

Well from my experience from two weeks ago in Brooklyn, kids love Ambrose too. Some kids don't follow the narrative for instance I see kids booing Cena live since 2011. Kids are easily influenced in their home environment so if other around them don't like Cena they too will not like Cena but it's not 100% of the time and sometimes they don't find Cena cool. Also Ambrose could sell as much merch as CM Punk did when he was on top with Cena. If the Merch is good and Ambrose stays on course he could fill that void Punk left and with Bryan injured.

At the rate of people getting injured/leaving, I wouldn't be shocked if Stardust is the main-event of WrestleMania.

Next year, maybe. For this year, I think not. There is still a lot of juice in this feud with Rollins, and possibly even a feud with Cena as well.

Not very likely.
I have a painful feeling that John Cena will be walking out as the champion for some reason.

I would still bet the house on Reigns winning it.

Ambrose will need Bryan-type reactions consistently from now to Royal Rumble to get any chance at being in that main event. Dean might be the most popular face right now, but not nearly as over as Bryan was exactly a year ago.

Personally, I'd love to see Ambrose vs. Lesnar at Wrestlemania.
How does one answer the brutish power and intimidation of The Beast? Ambrose can match that with his durability and unpredictability. Throw in Lesnar making the mistake of taking Dean lightly, and this match could out of nowhere to be a marquee attraction.

I would still bet the house on Reigns winning it. Yeah. I think if they have any chance of doing this, they will. Any other options are backups

An Ambrose vs Lesnar match would be dogshit; the buildup would have to be insane.

An Ambrose vs Lesnar match would be dogshit; the buildup would have to be insane. Really? Ambroses ability to sell and in turn take an absolute beating against Brock f***ing Lesnar of all people? That's a match I need to see. Brock just German suplexes him over and over and Ambrose just won't die.

I could see Ambrose/Lesnar being similar in nature to DDP/Goldberg but with a stronger face/heel dynamic. Having said that, I don't see Ambrose getting a shot at Mania, but I could see Ambrose being Lesnar's Royal Rumble opponent.
