i get that people want to stand out, and it does look cool, and people should not discriminate against people that look like this. However, I could never do this because it's too permanent. I almost got a Hatchetman tattoo in the late 90's, and I am now thankful I didn't . I couldn't imagine having holes in both cheeks and having second thoughts about it. Well, of course you are glad you did not get it. If you are going to permanently put an image of a Battlemech on your body, it damned well better be a really cool or iconic one like the Atlas or Daishi. Oh well, at least you were not considering getting a Vindicator tattoo. That would have truly been embarrassing.

Things are just getting more and more f***ed up. In my grandpa's days a man just wouldn't grow his hair long. Then in my dad's days earrings were edgy and tattoos were a no no unless you were in the army. Here we are now and those things are "normal". So people have to stretch ears and jaws now. Will we look at that in twenty years and not even bat an eyelash? What will be extreme and edgy in twenty years? Sweatervests, it all goes in cycles. So The Posse were ahead of their time.
