that's a part of why people liked Brodus' debut because of the prospect of that theme finally being released after 8 years.

"Somebody call my mama," was originally Miller's catchphrase. He used it a ton in WCW. He'd be like, "Somebody call my mama, I'm fixin' to whoop somebody tonight! I saw Mark Madden's fat ass in the shower!!" And then dance like James Brown. For some reason WCW decided to push the heck out of this dude towards the end.

I'm currently reading the 10th-anniversary edition of Death of WCW. They brought in James Brown to appear on a PPV, unannounced or advertised, with Miller in 1999 and paid him $100K for the appearance. Much like almost everything of that era in WCW, I'm assuming it was money well spent.

I hated the guy just one year earlier but damn he was entertaining that last year of WCW.

He bombed fierce in WWE. I had no idea who he was and I couldn't stand him when he debuted.

I loved the song and the fact Brodus meant it was finally released made me so happy. Not gonna lie though, him and LaMont coming out when Benoit and Orton are down and making no attempt to eliminate them, rather dancing like madmen whilst Tazz sings along is one of my favourite Royal Rumble moments ever. And then they get tossed out and Tazz goes "Good, I was sick of the dancing!" Oh, and him doing the splits after stripping down to his underwear because Sable kissed him is hilarious. I think he was one of my favourite guys on Smackdown at the time.

A bit O/T but I always wanted to know was Benoit throwing Lamont's wig during his elimination from the Rumble a planned spot?

Between Miller, Clay and Woods, that theme has been tossed around almost as much as Triple H's generic heel theme from when he first left DX.

I thought Miller was fun but, yeah, he didn't have much of a shelf life. But in a legendary movie moment he did end Randy The Ram by taking a final Ram Jam! Ernest Miller > Mickey Rourke, that's what we learned from watching The Wrestler.

He bombed fierce in WWE. I had no idea who he was and I couldn't stand him when he debuted. My feelings exactly. I wanted him off my tv.

BUT The Cat kept saying that James Brown was going to show up at random shows and never did... (and I think an impersonator came out at one point) So it kinda had like less than 0 hype because no one believed that Brown would actually show up this time...but we got swerved!
