Kobe's gonna shoot the Lakers into contention or die trying I give him until mid-season before his knees explode.

The Kings are taking it to the Clippers right now! Hopefully we can keep this up for 4 quarters.

Watched the 4th quarter of that Kings game on League Pass. Boogie was a friggin' monster. Good win in Staples against the Clippers.

Carmelo Anthony became the 40th player in NBA history to score at least 20,000 points on Sunday, finishing a home win vs. the Hornets with 28 points on 12-of-22 shooting.
He became the sixth-youngest player to ever reach the historic benchmark

The Kings have the lead at halftime in Denver... I'm starting to get excited about this team, they're really buying in and playing great defense.

Harden 17-18 from the line tonight. Now 51-54 (94.4%) after four games.
Noel was a beast tonight. Quick, athletic, good hands, good timing on his block attempts, and was Noah-like in his hustle. Looked like Hakeem at times out there. Has no real offensive game yet, but that'll come. Just needs to get a bit stronger, as Dwight/Houston manhandled him on the boards. DPOY potential for sure.

Harden 25p/9r/10a on 13 shots, Howard 26p/10r on 16 shots, Ariza 19p/5r/5a/3s on 8 shots.
Rockets improve to 5-0 with a 17 point win over Miami. Have won all games by double digits and have held every team under 93. Good start to the season!

Raptors now 3-1 after winning 100-88 vs. Oklahoma City, who headed into the game with 8 starters, and ended with five on the bench. (Two got injured, and another got ejected).

Un-f***ing-real. The Thunder just can't catch a break. Are they seriously going to run a 6 man rotation next game?
At the pace the Thunder are going, it is just a recipe for players getting hurt. The guys have to play nearly the entire length of the game.
What happens if the Thunder get down to only 5 players that are actually healthy enough to play?

Maybe I missed a story about it but I've noticed teams playing in what are more short-sleeved t-shirts than the usual sleeveless jerseys. Is there a reason for this or is it just specific teams are adopting it?

Maybe I missed a story about it but I've noticed teams playing in what are more short-sleeved t-shirts than the usual sleeveless jerseys. Is there a reason for this or is it just specific teams are adopting it? From what I remember reading, the biggest reason is money, for a couple of reasons. First, the NBA thought that some fans are uncomfortable wearing regular jerseys because unlike every other major sports jersey, they don't have sleeves (these same people must have not heard of undershirts). Second, it gives them more specialized jerseys to sell to make even more money. As far as teams go, I believe the Warriors were the first ones to wear them a couple of years ago. From what I remember, only the big name teams have ever really worn them (Lakers, Heat, Knicks, etc.). At most, only half the teams actually have sleeved jerseys, and only wear them occasionally. In addition, it's not just an NBA thing. A few NCAA teams also had sleeved jerseys last year, those being UCLA, Baylor, and Louisville, but again, they weren't used that often.

Good home win for the Bulls over the Magic, without Rose and Noah too. Right back at it tonight, away at the Bucks.

The Pacers might as well settle into their current position in the Eastern Conference.
