Welp, I've just found myself a new time-waster. This site is apparently pretty popular so I wouldn't be surprised if most people here already know about it but I only found out about it a couple hours ago and this thing is incredibly addicting. For those of you who don't know about it either, it's one of those sites that collect humorous personal anecdotes, in this case stories of stupid/asshole customers. It's really amazing. Like, I get those that don't understand something and then realize their mistake; we all have brain farts once in a while, but what I really don't get are the opens who seem to be under the impression that employees are their own personal slaves/punching bag and I must admit, hearing stories of these guys getting their comeuppance is always delightful. notalwaysright.com

I read a lot of those one time. I know there's crazy customers in reality, but many of those stories are so obviously made-up.

Yeah I mean crazy stuff happens when I was a fast food manager I had someone threaten to fight me over getting the wrong sandwich. Had people call the store only to cuss me out over who knows what. Had someone cut off another person in a drivethru throw a sandwich at me and yell make it right because they had not taken off the tomatoes. Just a few examples but it can be crazy out there.

I love not always right. I've considered posting a few anecdotes on there. Like, I've had multiple customers try to fight me or even threaten me with murder because they were unsatisfied with their food or had to wait too long. People can be absolutely stupid.

You should be ashamed of yourself. Time is something that is not to be wasted!

I disbelieve the overly suave and witty clerk comeback ones.

You should be ashamed of yourself. Time is something that is not to be wasted! You must cherish time. Can I have $20 to go get loaded?

I've been in customer service for ten years or so in various industries myself and I can assure that the asshole customers will most likely be as close to 100% true as you can get. The register biscuit comebacks on the other hand, are likely to all be absolute bullshit.

Especially if the customer is rendered speechless or there's a round of applause by spectators.

Pretty much as with all customer service jobs its a given that you are going to have to deal with annoying customers who are awful entitled c***s but the register comebacks just scream of wish fulfillment and sort of give the impression the people who posted them had deal with a shitty customer and wished they could of handled them that way.
