"You see, Shawn Michaels, when Jose Lothario put his ass on the apron, he became part of the game!" One of the greatest lines in wrestling lore.

Sid would have made the entire ECW roster look like midgets... Same when they brought Scott Hall in; there's a reason they used one of these rare dates against of all people.... Big Sal.

If anything, I kinda find it sad he showed up in a promotion usually when they were on the decline (ie 95-97 WWF, 93 and 99-01 WCW).
The millennium man stuff did reek of typical late-WCW desperation.

The Millennium Man moniker was WCW's attempt to beat WWE to the punch because they had started the 'Countdown to the Millennium' clock which WCW correctly assumed would lead to Jericho. WCW assumed Jericho might be called 'The Millennium Man' so they gave the nickname to the returning Sid during the time when WWE was waiting to be able to debut Jericho. I don't know whether WWE did indeed plan on calling Jericho 'the Millennium Man,' but WCW thinking they were was the only reason they gave Sid that nickname.

Sid was awesome. He's just everything a big guy wrestler should be.

In addition to master and ruler of the world, he was the millennium man. Why? Because he says so!

I love him for the little things. Like those flip-flops, they show everything you need to know about the crazy lug. Or when he'd randomly yell "Who's da man?" Sid was a master at things like that, that contribute to his character.

If this motley crew came looking for me, I think I'd shit my pants.
