www.youtube.com/watch?feature=player_detailpage&v=c9PIdDXmLgY#t=123(Please don't embed WWE-owned themes and footage from non-official WWE youtube sites~ Tyger)What should have been the birth of a permanent mega star. Everything pretty much went down hill after this, though. One of WWE's biggest screw ups since the Invasion. I love the shot of the camera circling Punk and the lights shining on him at the "neon lights" line. Of course dumbass Kevin Dunn has the camera cut to crowd after a second of the shot holding on Punk. The same way he had to cut to Cena as Punk stretched his arms out in what is another great shot for about a second...

I'm going oldschool for my pick. My favorite is Ric Flair's early NWA entrances when he come out to the actual Also Sprach Zarathustra and had the smoke come up from the floor. That combined with his robes and mannerisms made it feel big time in my opinion

Ultimate Warrior at WM7. One of the only times he didn't sprint to the ring. It made the match with Savage seem even more epic in that he knew it was going to be so intense, he had to conserve his energy. And with expertly handled commentary to emphasise the point... Heenan: Why isn't he running? Monsoon: Maybe he knows what's at stake here. I dread to think how JBL and Cole would have called it. "He's twerkin' Maggle...I love it!"

It wasn't for a special occasion, but Orton's Legend Killer entrance. The way the music would kick in, then on the second "HEY!", he'd look around, pose and pyro.
And the best ones by far were when he managed to time it perfectly and pose in the ring as the guitar solo kicks in. Made him look ridiculously badass, like a real champion.

MNM's entrance, whenever it was done. I enjoyed the combination of raunchy dance music, red carpet, paparazzi, strobe lights, fur coats, loincloth championship belts and general gaudiness. It stood out as distinctive in that period of utter blandness that characterized the early mid-2000's.

There are lots. For good reason, the first to come to mind was every Ultimate Warrior entrance ever and that of course sets up the WM 7 walk to ringside. Good grief. I mark out just thinking about it.
(In the wrong thread, but I also love Davey Richards' subtle gimmick of always finding the wimpy ring crew guy and slinging him out of a ringside chair to the floor and then climbing it and getting fired up.)

Guys, please don't embed WWE owned video and themes from non-official WWE youtube (and dailymotion, et. al) sites. It's happened twice in this thread. WWE's lawyers have contacted us in the past about it and it's a big deal. When in doubt, just post the link, ok?

Not one specific but Matt Hardy's Mattitude Facts is one of the most creative things "creative" has ever came up with. IMO.

Sandman at One Night Stand 2005
Undertaker at WrestleMania 29
Undertaker at WrestleMania IX (simpler than his later entrances, but the vulture was just incredibly cool)
Bray Wyatt at WrestleMania 30
Triple H at WrestleMania 30

It says 'WWE' on the forum subsection, not the thread. Mods can always move it... *finger steeple of evil* TNA always has that feeling of shame associated with it though. Like I watch it sometimes and then feel bad about it. Kinda like checking out a sexy girl and then finding out she's only 16 and then you have to pretend you didn't mean it. I'm from the UK so 16 is legal!

Unannounced Austin returns where he would run in and save the day/beat up the bad guys. Glass Shatters, HUGE POP, Jr going crazy "BAH GOD IT'S AUSTIN! STONE COLD! STONE COLD! STONE COLD IS HERE!"

This will be an odd choice but Stone Cold at WrestleMania X7.
It's standard, just him coming down the ramp, but the circumstance just adds to it. From the moment Heyman says "It's a match where both men need to win, and neither man can afford to lose" it is on. Cue the Limp Bizkit package we all know and love, and then cut to Finkel announcing the match, adding that last new detail "there will be noooooo disqualification!"
*glass shatters*
The Astrodome explodes. And the combination of Finkel's announcing + Austin's Disturbed theme just gives me goosebumps.

Austin in one of his more recent podcast episodes actually gives a run-through commentary for this match, detailing what he was thinking about at certain points as well as how they called the match, and he covers his own thought-process during this entrance whilst the soundclip plays in the background. www.youtube.com/watch?v=MsRaRKDNLOU at around about the 6:14 mark
