This will be an odd choice but Stone Cold at WrestleMania X7. It's standard, just him coming down the ramp, but the circumstance just adds to it. From the moment Heyman says "It's a match where both men need to win, and neither man can afford to lose" it is on. Cue the Limp Bizkit package we all know and love, and then cut to Finkel announcing the match, adding that last new detail "there will be noooooo disqualification!" *glass shatters* The Astrodome explodes. And the combination of Finkel's announcing + Austin's Disturbed theme just gives me goosebumps. Austin in one of his more recent podcast episodes actually gives a run-through commentary for this match, detailing what he was thinking about at certain points as well as how they called the match, and he covers his own thought-process during this entrance whilst the soundclip plays in the background. www.youtube.com/watch?v=MsRaRKDNLOU at around about the 6:14 mark Gave it a listen last week, he should do more of these.

Original Kane entrance, where the lights went out for a few seconds, then that organ kicked in, PYRO!, Kane walks out under a single red light in the darkness. So chilling.

Every Kurt Angle entrance where the audience would chant 'You Suck'. That's such a classic that I've always loved.

Oh also another one, HHH's entrance at mania 27 vs Taker where he came out to Metallica's for whom the bell tolls. Then the music switch to his theme. You gotta give it to HHH, regardless of what you think about him, his entrances are excellent. Easily my favorite unique entrance, with his WMXXX one with Charlotte, Sasha Banks, and Alexa Bliss as a close second. Late 90s Taker and the Brood get my favorite for basic entrance.

Sandman's entrance @ One Night Stand 2005. Austin's entrance @ WM 13. came to post about sandman at ons - easily the greatest entrance of all time - its not even a contest - i dont get why people never sing along to entrance themes the way they did there. Would be epic, imagine punk came back at mania or something and everyone started singing along to his theme? hell imagine if just once when hogan came out the crowd sang real american, we all know the words, just sing it. Instant classic moment.

Speaking of Kane, here's my favourite of his ones: www.youtube.com/watch?v=VzhxwuizY9MI have no idea why they got rid of the organ, that was up there with the Undertaker's gong, the glass shattering or "If ya SMEEEEELLLLLLLLL" in terms of an iconic crowd popping opening.

Y2J's light up jacket and before that just him doing the Ayatolla pose after the lights come on are always great, especially when he comes back from a hiatus

Ultimate Warrior at WM7. One of the only times he didn't sprint to the ring. It made the match with Savage seem even more epic in that he knew it was going to be so intense, he had to conserve his energy. And with expertly handled commentary to emphasise the point... Heenan: Why isn't he running? Monsoon: Maybe he knows what's at stake here. I dread to think how JBL and Cole would have called it. He's walkin, Maggle! Vintage Warrior!

Whichever Wrestlemania Kane did his first MITB...
Everybody was coming out one at a time, fairly bland entrances. Kane comes out, and all the ladders that were just forgettable background pieces blew up in flames.
It was one of the few times my jaw literally dropped while watching.
On that same venue, the "Hollywood" Wrestlemania, the entire show they had a big city backscape, and when Kane came out, the entire thing set on fire.
Those moments when you use everything.

I'm surprised it took so long for someone to say Sandman at ONS 2005. Everything about that was perfect. The camera being focused on Dreamer, then Enter Sandman hits, Tommy smiles & the crowd goes batshit crazy. Then the entire crowd singing along to the music, hell when the lunatic in the crowd is smacking himself in the head whilst Sandman throws back a beer was just surreal. Plus Foley's commentary of the whole thing was great.
