My town uh... it's just an hour train ride from New York City!
Otherwise it's your pretty typical suburban New Jersey town. Nice place to live but no reason to specifically visit unless you like hobby stores. We've got one of the best in the country.

Name one other thing. But yes, Halesowen College is great. ....Lee Sharpe? Yay, a mediocre footballer.

Love that place. The pizza dog and barnyard bird dog are fantastic.

When you say home town do you mean where I grew up at or where I currently live? If you mean where I grew up, how can I sell you on a place that I willingly and eagerly left? I guess if you are a meth-using, racist redneck that does not want to spend much on a house you might like it there.
If you mean where I live, it is a rare accepting and open minded place in the middle of Redneckland. It also has a bunch of decent locally owned restaurants that are great. Now that my kids are older I get to try out all manners of authentic foreign food. There are a number of festivals hosted in town that are worth checking out (food, music, art, and various social events). There is also a well known comedy club in town that gets top stars to show up.

When you say home town do you mean where I grew up at or where I currently live? If we're basing this on where I grew up (about an hour from Orlando and the Kennedy Space Center), it's a lovely little corner of Floridian suburbia. The Twin Cities? This would be a little harder sell for me because outside the cities there isn't much (unless you're into gambling or hunting). Columbus, OH where I lived for some time is the best of both worlds. Busy downtown, good arts scene, and low rent in the right areas (without having bars on your windows).

Lubbock is... home. Every time I leave, I can't wait to come back. The people here are great. It's a very conservative, old-fashioned, take-your-time-and-enjoy-the-ride kind of city, but is one of the quickest growing cities in the nation. It's currently the 84th largest city in the nation, and growing due to the expansion of businesses leaving California.
It also has one of the best medical programs in the nation at the Health Sciences Center, in addition to many other programs, such as Speech Language and Hearing, Occupational Therapy, Physical Therapy, Nursing, and such. The Business College was just voted one of the best in the nation. The Engineering school is top 10 as well.
All in all, I love it here, and never want to leave.

We have awesome food! Especially seafood. My username comes from the local favorite- grilled cheese sandwich with crab. Also, we have many cool museums, of which are in the Inner Harbor area, which is a nice tourist trap (stay away from the shop called "ITSUGAR". It's every favorite candy known to man, super-sized). Charles Street has got some fantastic sushi (also fantastically bad- best read up on Yelp before going) and Indian food. Also, once you have Royal Farms chicken, Chik Fil A and KFC will be dead to you. And cupcakes- we're big on cupcakes. Sure, there's a little crime *snorts in withheld laughter* but and long as you don't wander around stupid, you'll be okay. Also: Little Italy's food holds its own to the Italian food I've had in Boston and NYC. The Jewish delis are spectacular. For Greek food, Samos is a superb choice. The crime's not bad if you stay out of the bad neighborhoods. Probably the biggest difficulty for newcomers to Baltimore is that we don't have bad neighborhoods cordoned off from good ones (i.e. Boston) and they can be pretty close nearby. On the other hand, unlike NYC, we don't have hordes of pretty criminals roaming around all the tourist destinations. Jesus that's the perfect crime. Be so pretty that the tourists get attracted to you and you rob them!

Everywhere has something interesting about it, be it culture, history, architecture or scenery. Especially in Europe.

I'm pretty sure most of us have at least the basic idea of what goes on in Las Vegas.

Sacramento is incredibly diverse ethnically and culturally and has some of the best food you will ever eat as a result. That's my favorite thing to bring up to people. I've been to plenty of other places and nowhere else can really match it. Korean-Mexican fusion, California burritos (steak, cheese, and French fries, man), Japanese ramen pubs, BBQ, some Thai dude making bomb-ass sandwiches, taco trucks, New York-style pizza by the slice, and that's just the stuff within walking distance.
The biggest perk for me personally though is it's one of the few cities I've lived in where I don't stick out at all. Everything is so mixed out here that nothing really seems unusual. I'm a mixed Native American dude living in a Japanese neighborhood with my half-black, half-Japanese aunt, my best friend and extended family is Mexican, my girlfriend is Chinese, and so on, and when we all have get-togethers if anyone who lives here were to see us they would just think "They're a family" without questioning it at all. It's a city that sums up what America is really about to me. I feel blessed that I've gotten to experience so many different cultures, lifestyles, and customs in one city that most people have to travel to see up close, if they ever get to do that.

Maplewood, NJ - a little suburb of New York City. Not much of note in the town itself. For some reason, the town gets mentioned in national media about twice a year.

Well I'm here for starters. I live not too far from the movie theater. That's about it here in the middle of no where, Wisconsin.
