Wasn't that vision Scarlet Witch f***ing with his head. Kinda. When she did the same, it showed Thor the Infinity Stones, which led to his arc heading into his third solo film.

I wish they had kept Spidey's appearance in this film a secret somehow. It would have been a HUGE markout moment to see Spider-Man show up unexpected (Kinf of like Spidey's cameo in the X-Men cartoon, when his glove showed up in the dark phoenix storyline, i was not expecting that, big markout moment for me).

They could have tried that, but I think they want the added interest going in. At this point, Spider-Man seems like Luke Skywalker in The Force Awakens.

All of Spider-Man, Black Panther and Vision will have strong arcs.

All of Spider-Man, Black Panther and Vision will have strong arcs. So long as it's nothing like his nightmare fuel of a comic...

Wasn't that vision Scarlet Witch f***ing with his head. With her comics powers being probability/chaos based, I had assumed the visions she showed people were her using her powers to show them the worst future that could happen, based on probabilities. Granted, I could just be trying too hard to make her generic movie powers link to her comic powers....

MCU Spiderman is 'charismatic, but insecure' and poorer/more grounded in reality.
Russo bros:
Don't know what movie they was watching but he was poor as hell in those 3 movies

Seriously that was like the most realistic NYC apartment from a character who isn't an insanely rich wall Street broker to have in a movie.

They didn't look expensive whatsoever.

Only thing I could think they are talking about is Aunt May's house... but even that never looked particularly expensive... also considering Ben and May's age they probably got it relatively cheap.

Time for gritty real Peter Parker, featuring his latest enemy - when Uncle Ben dies, Child Protective Services step in to check Aunt May can manage!
Can Spider-Man stop the awesome power of The Social Worker!

I'm still a bit annoyed that we're taking him back to high school again. That's just been done to death by now, and it's very limiting. I grew up on the Spider-Man of the 80's and 90's, and I find adult Peter Parker far more interesting.

Well, he did graduate in the first Raimi and second Webb films.

I'm ok with Peter being in High School to boot. You can build towards his adult life as the series goes on.

I actually like the aspect of Peter in High School. One of the things that I felt was missing in the early films is his struggle in trying to maintain being an academic genius and a superhero while in a High School setting. That really makes for an interesting story in seeing a teenager trying to adapt in a world fighting crime, and yet, at the same time, attempt to maintain a sense of normalcy given his special circumstances.

He can't have that aspect as a college student? I always thought that worked better in his storylines than him being in high school.

But I found it more interesting that a teenager who is 15(I don't know how old he'll be in Civil War) is trying to juggle being a superhero and a normal kid as well. That's just my preferred taste though.
