My ONE complaint. Is that spider-man voice doesn't sound very excited. Shit as you want on drake bell (and how much i shit on toby)voice,but at least every single spiderman incarnation had the same upbeat attitude on their voice. That was the whole point. Please elaborate. No please do,because if there is a point i'm missing . You mean the situation bums he down? That would work for the scene,but i expected the trailer debut to make him look like the usual spiderman. Maybe good for the movie but bad for trailer?

I hated the comic event, too. But this seems to be the concept done right. I never hated the concept, just the crap execution. It seems that every thing that used the Civil War concept has done it better than the original comics story. Agreed. Even the Secret Wars mini was quite a good read. Well, Civil War was originally supposed to be a Captain America-specific event (probably a long storyarc, possibly a mini event including some Avengers folks) before Millar blew it up into a major Marvel Comics event. Didn't know insanity (well, one man's versus a company's thirst for money) factored into it?

That would work for the scene,but i expected the trailer debut to make him look like the usual spiderman. Maybe good for the movie but bad for trailer? Two-fold: It's making fun of a huge event by underplaying it. The biggest Marvel character, one that has made over a billion dollars at the box office and has been the source of legal battles between two enormous media entities, shows up in the most important Marvel movie so far in this big moment and plays it like "Oh, hey." It's the equivalent of Luke not saying anything at the end of Episode VII. Second, it fits how flippant the character is. He doesn't seem bummed out to me so much as a irreverent teen. The fact that Stark is so casual with his command also sets it up, imo.

It could also be though that that line in the trailer is uttered in a different part of the movie. Plain and simple.

We agree to disagree then. Irreverent teen works perfectly for Spider-Man. I also feels it's quite deliberate, as everything you see in a trailer for a billion dollar franchise is well-calculated.

Seriously this looks like an avengers movie. It looks more Avengers than Age of Ultron. Agreed and I'm one of the few who enjoyed Age of Ultron. Plus this is apparently going to be the longest of all the marvel movies. Looks like they're putting a lot of effort into this movie which I find interesting. I think there's going to be a lot of game changing events steaming from this film. Hoping it's not something like {Spoiler}The Death of Captain America though. I loved that storyline and Bucky Cap was my favorite character at the time, but I love Chris Evans I I want to see him around longer. Loving the fact we're getting Crossbones in this it looks like as well. I was disappointed that was all we were going to see of him in Winter Solider but I'm glad they brought him back with mask and what not. I wonder if he's still working with Hydra or maybe some other Cap villian.

While I would've been fine if they kept Spidey's reveal out until the actual film release. Seeing him for the first time in the trailer and in the Marvel Cinematic Universe made me squeal like a nerd. {Spoiler}Still don't think Cap's dying. It would get pretty redundant to continue "killing" characters and bringing them back. I have a feeling Rhodes, possibly Barton, and maybe Maria Hill biting it though. Or they could really surprise everyone and have Stark die. {Spoiler}

Shit as you want on drake bell (and how much i shit on toby)voice,but at least every single spiderman incarnation had the same upbeat attitude on their voice. He's a 15 year old kid who just chose a side between Iron Man and Captain America, he's allowed to be a touch nervous. Plus, at this point in the MCU he's only been around for less then a year, and people think he's an urban legend. There's a very good chance this Spidey hasn't faced any supervillains yet, just stopping petty thugs so it came across as a pretty normal reaction to me
