Wonder what causes SM to switch sides in this version I've heard... {Spoiler}That he won't exactly switch sides, per se, but rather back out when he realizes that all the fighting goes against the great responsibility stuff.

My ONE complaint. Is that spider-man voice doesn't sound very excited. Shit as you want on drake bell (and how much i shit on toby)voice, but at least every single spiderman incarnation had the same upbeat attitude on their voice. He's a 15 year old kid who just chose a side between Iron Man and Captain America, he's allowed to be a touch nervous. Plus, at this point in the MCU he's only been around for less then a year, and people think he's an urban legend. There's a very good chance this Spidey hasn't faced any supervillains yet, just stopping petty thugs so it came across as a pretty normal reaction to me I don' think so, plsu the effect even if it was true ,it makes for a bad presentantion in the trainer, Spider Man already introduces himself friendly and jokingly(ok almost always). it is not awful, just doesn't fit

Spider-Man shows up for the first time in the MCU/trailer and people still complain. Gotta love comic book fans.

While I would've been fine if they kept Spidey's reveal out until the actual film release. Seeing him for the first time in the trailer and in the Marvel Cinematic Universe made me squeal like a nerd. {Spoiler}{Spoiler}Still don't think Cap's dying. It would get pretty redundant to continue "killing" characters and bringing them back. I have a feeling Rhodes, possibly Barton, and maybe Maria Hill biting it though. Or they could really surprise everyone and have Stark die. {Spoiler}{Spoiler}
{Spoiler}I can't see Clint dying for multiple reasons. Jeremy Renner still has 4 or 5 movies on his contract, and they finally just began really using him in the last movie. Furthermore, Hawkeye is really the biggest fanservice character in the films, considering he's basically there strictly for the comic book nerds like myself because he's a fan favorite in that world. And lastly, the general moviegoing audience seems to either not care about him, or plain hate him. So killing him off wouldn't really get any kind of devastating emotional response from the general audience. Marvel is going to want the character death to hurt, and his wouldn't as sad as that makes me.
Now if you want to ask me who is biting the big one, I think it's Black Widow. Scarlet's contract is up with this movie unless she's signed a new one, and she's very popular with the general audience. On top of that, she's got strong ties to both sides of the fight, so her death would impact the characters in the film greater than any other barring Steve's. This new trailer also played up her internal struggle quite directly. Granted, I could be way off base, but those are just my theories.

I could've sworn she was going to be in Infinity War though. But I do believe you're right that Widow dying could really bring about some hurt. Only reason why I am not sold on it because we see her in Tony's vision during Age of Ultron.

Fits Peter perfectly. When he's overwhelmed, he jokes. He's clearly in over his head here, so the sheepish: "Hey guys." works well

I'm on the fence over that trailer. It looks good, but for some reason I'm not as hyped as I was after seeing the Iron Man 3, Winter Soldier, and Age of Ultron trailers.
That being said, I was fairly lukewarm on the Guardians of the Galaxy trailer and I wound up loving the movie.

.......ok look Marvel, I HATE Civil War and what it did to my Marvel comics world. I hate that they're doing a cash-grab sequel. I hate the idea that it's infecting the movies now. So how DARE you seemingly make something with the Civil War monniker that I want to see now?!! Argh all my well laid plans areOH MY GOD AND YOU MADE SPIDEY SQUINT YOU PSYCHOTIC BASTARDS COME ON THAT'S GREAT NOW DAMMIT!!!I hated the comic event, too. But this seems to be the concept done right. I never hated the concept, just the crap execution. Helps that the issue that causes the conflict has a practical reason for it (superhuman accountability as opposed to secret identities) and a personal stake (whatever happens to Bucky).

So I totally forgot the movie's out in two months, I thought it was like July. I'm so much more hyped about it now.
I am not digging Spidey's outfit though.

It is strange that this movie is premised on the Avengers needing government oversight on a global level because of how they are perceived to be reckless, or at least responsible, directly or indirectly, for all the chaos and death that has impacted the MCU over the past several years. Yet no one so far, either in the advertising thus far or even people commenting on the internet, has really considered bizarre it is to have a 15 year old buff nerdy high school kid involved in a superhero civil war with far reaching geopolitical (if not extraterrestial) implications. Wouldn't that be something you would think would require someone in the story, a representative of some national government to say, hey, let's not have costumed superheroes to superhero stuff until they are at least the age of majority?

Seriously this looks like an avengers movie. It looks more Avengers than Age of Ultron. That was my biggest takeaway from the trailer. As I'm watching it and recognizing all of the familiar Marvel superhero faces, I'm thinking to myself, "uhh...how is this not just considered 'The Avengers Part III'?"

Almost everything about that trailer was perfect, and my hype levels are through the roof.
The exception was the Spidey costume/eyes. No. It doesn't work like it does in a 2D cartoon. You've designed dozens of superheroes for the movies now and not done this. Don't start now. Bad Marvel. Stop it. Sony has a perfectly good costume waiting.

I was actually happy with Spidey's voice. I know they haven't shown it on the big screen but, Spider-Man is a nervous, awkward high schooler who's taking on a huge responsibility and now, has walked himself into a conflict between Captain America and Iron Man.

His eyes make a mechanical camera shudder sound. They aren't cartoony, they're mechanized.

The implication being that it's Stark who gave Spidey his suit, mechanical eyes and all.
