So should we go out on a limb that the credits teaser for Ant-Man is Hank Pym telling Lang that he has a visitor...and Cap invites him to join the Avengers? Cap: I would like to invite you to join the... Scott: AVENGERS?!? ABSOLUTELY! I WOULD LOVE TO.... Cap: ....West Coast Avengers.....this is awkward

Not read the Civil War story arc.
I have looked it up. I know it's not popular with the fans (I can understand why) and it starts with a disaster that kills some lower tier characters. So will this be how the movie starts? The MCU is not that big yet, they don't really have anyone on the lower tier. Unless they want to off some TV characters or Thor's Asgardian buddies.

Most likely not. I imagine they'll use the name and take some inspiration from the storyline but it'll mostly be its own thing based on the cinema universe's build so far. I think that's the best way to go.

WWE should rip this off
The US government believes that because they are superstars, and therefore more dangerous than mere mortals, WWE wrestlers must sign the Superstar Registration Act.
Cena says YES!
Orton says NO!
Thus leading to a Cena vs Orton match at......oh.

#ImWithCap Also with what's brewing on Agents of SHIELD. I think Agents of SHIELD, by all accounts, is ignored by the film side of the MCU. As it should be for the most part. Putting important information on that show is a bad idea. It's already expecting a lot for people to watch all of the movies.

That's why I can't really get into the Marvel universe as much as I love It
I loved the idea of being able to watch Avengers and Avengers 2 without watching other films or tv shows, even if all I've seen is Iron Man 1 (I plan on seeing Winter Soldier at some point though)

Story blurb:
“Captain America: Civil War” picks up where “Avengers: Age of Ultron” left off, as Steve Rogers leads the new team of Avengers in their continued efforts to safeguard humanity. After another international incident involving the Avengers results in collateral damage, political pressure mounts to install a system of accountability and a governing body to determine when to enlist the services of the team. The new status quo fractures the Avengers while they try to protect the world from a new and nefarious villain.

Wouldn't shock me to see Hawkeye to actually bite it in this one

No costume, not an enhanced; kinda leans toward the Everett K. Ross rumor.

So is it safe to say that Civil War is basically Avengers 2.5? In which case, Infinity War will be Avengers 3.0 and Avengers 3.5?

As far as Freeman, my Vegas money is on Gyrich.
I've got a backup bet on Ross though.

As far as I know about the guy he's a pretty prominent character in the X-Men comics. He made his first appearance in Avengers and was their long time government liaison. It's probably one of those Quicksilver/Scarlet Witch situations. That and they killed off "Guyrich" in the original X-Men offscreen so they've got no reason to complain.

Maybe not the right topic, but since Marvel got the rights for Ghost Rider and Punisher back, will we see a Punisher cameo in this movie? I know he had a small role in the comic, but wonder if anyone thinks he pops up in the movie.
