Easy way to tell who Freeman will play: Does the Marvel Universe have any characters from British literature who are grumpy about being involved in adventures? Because between H2G2, Sherlock and The Hobbit, he doesn't do much else.

Maybe not the right topic, but since Marvel got the rights for Ghost Rider and Punisher back, will we see a Punisher cameo in this movie? I know he had a small role in the comic, but wonder if anyone thinks he pops up in the movie. My money, and hope really, is that Punisher pops up with their Netflix properties and has a run-in with Daredevil et al. That's really where he belongs.

It'd be sort of hilarious if Freeman was an inexplicably non-Asian Wong to Cumberbatch's Strange.

It'd be sort of hilarious if Freeman was an inexplicably non-Asian Wong to Cumberbatch's Strange. Sort of like the Discworld Color of Magic movie. Sean Astin, fresh of LOTR, was cast as Twoflower, a stereotypical asian tourist.

Wouldn't Gyrich's rights be over at Fox? As far as I know about the guy he's a pretty prominent character in the X-Men comics. He made his first appearance in Avengers and was their long time government liaison. It's probably one of those Quicksilver/Scarlet Witch situations. That and they killed off "Guyrich" in the original X-Men offscreen so they've got no reason to complain. Thanks for clearing that up. My first guess was Gyrich too, considering he was a government liaison to the Avengers in the past, I just assumed he was tied into the X-Men franchise.

That's why I can't really get into the Marvel universe as much as I love It I loved the idea of being able to watch Avengers and Avengers 2 without watching other films or tv shows, even if all I've seen is Iron Man 1 (I plan on seeing Winter Soldier at some point though) There are literally two scenes in Age of Ultron that talk about other movies. Barring that it's pretty self contained.

Civil War Reportedly Filming A Funeral Scene Please not Steve, please not Steve, please not Steve. Maybe it's for Peggy. Whoever it is, it's likely to be someone close to either Tony or Steve. I'm thinking Tony, to further push the narrative of him wanting to protect everybody and not being able to handle it when he can't, which drives him into supporting the registration act. So maybe Pepper or Rhodey?

Looks like they're staying more accurate to the comics than we thought.

Civil War Reportedly Filming A Funeral Scene Which could be either after the inital disaster that causes the civil war (like in the comics where the mother blames Stark) or they are killing Bill Foster. There were two funerals in the comic, doesn't mean a big name is dying.

Or even Coulson dying again. Only this time, it's Bill Coulson, Phil's inexplicably identical never-before-seen twin brother.

It'll be for Peggy. We know what she means to Rogers, and we'll get to see what she meant to Stark. That's one plot point that hasn't been explored yet.
