This week, Raw returns to the good ole' USA, specifically the Berglund Center Coliseum in Roanoke, Virginia. We are six days away from Survivor Series and the Traditional 5 on 5 Tag Team Elimination Match, in which The Authority's power is on the line. Both Team Cena and Team Authority are currently short one member as John Cena currently has Dolph Ziggler, The Big Show, and Sheamus, while Team Authority's captain Seth Rollins has recruited Kane, Mark Henry, and Rusev. Both teams have made a play to add Ryback as their final piece, but so far Ryback has emphatically declined to be a part of both teams. Will The Big Guy make The Big Decision, or will both teams have to look elsewhere to complete their line up? In addition, Luke Harper also volunteered his services to The Authority last week, and has been especially eyeballing Team Cena's Dolph Ziggler as of late. What will happen as both teams scramble to add the missing piece to their puzzle?
Another rivalry that will come to a head at Survivor Series is between Dean Ambrose and Bray Wyatt. Last Friday on Smackdown, Wyatt would attack Ambrose during a backstage interview. However, this feud is less about Bray's physical actions and more about his mind games, as the Eater of Worlds seems to have struck a chord with the Lunatic Fringe, drudging up some painful memories of Ambrose's father. Will we learn more about Dean Ambrose's past, and what will The Titty Master do to even the score with his arch-nemesis heading into their showdown at Survivor Series?
So far, there has been one championship match signed for the big event this Sunday, with AJ Lee defending the Diva's championship against Nikki Bella. Nikki has been on a roll ever since she defeated her sister Brie at Hell in a Cell, earning one month of indentured servitude from her sister. Nikki has used her helpless sister to successfully play head games with the Diva's champion, but AJ has proven that she can overcome 2-on-1 odds during her current reign as Diva's champion. Will AJ figure out how to keep the Bella Twins at bay?
While there has not been a Tag Team title match signed for Survivor Series yet, Gold and Stardust have no shortage of challengers, ranging from The Usos,Rosalina and Luma Miz and Mizdow, Los Matadores, and even Adam Rose and The Bunny. However, that last team has seen a fair amount of dissension, as The Bunny has cost Adam Rose some victories in the past few weeks, leading to Adam physically punishing his furry friend. Is there major problems in the Exotic Express? Speaking of furry friends...
We here at FAN may be one of the toughest audiences to please, but this week's Raw will have a critic that will be harder to please than any jaded internet smark. This week's Guest Star is none other than Grumpy Cat, star of the original Lifetime movie “Grumpy Cat’s Worst Christmas Eve." We can only hope Tyson Kidd will be involved somehow, but I have feeling Grumpy Cat will fit in with the likes of the bull, the bunny, and/or the leprechaun.
All this and more at 8PM ET, and don't forget that Survivor Series is FREE FREE FREE to all new subscribers of the WWE Network.
