Nope, Clara never actually did anything, he just got away with talking back at the doctor while River constantly screwed up but just confidenced her way through it. Pond never seemed to get called on anything ever, constantly saved the day or went in to ginger warrior queen mode, was a total bitch to poor Rory and, was just this annoying ball uber Mary Sue ness. I truly hate that character and everything she brought to the show What she did, Rose did earlier and worse. But Rose a) broke down occasionally and it felt like things were bad for her and she was in peril and was accidentally in the position she was and b) was likeable. Amy Pond was just a bitch

Franklin from My Wife & Kids. He made the entire Kyle family look like total idiots, and somehow, he's able to solve all of their biggest problems with ease. The worst part about is that he's a child.

At least until he beat up Lawler in the cage. Huh, that's odd, Clash. You somehow zoomed in the photo of the actual Mary-Sue being addressed that he can't be seen anymore.

I think, since he's usually the villain, he's more like the Naraku "Always one step ahead, often when it barely makes sense" kind of villain.

I can't think of instances on BATB where Batman overshadows another hero. It also helps that that iteration of the character isn't an anti-social jerk with a batpole sized stick up his ass (which he frequently was in the DCAU, especially the Justice League eps). The Captain Marvel episode basically had Batman doing all the work at the end and outsmarting the villain. He also beat most of Marvel's Rogue's Gallery in baby form. There's more, aside from the sex song, but those two stuck out. Originally I thought this way too, but as the series went on I came to the realization that Batman being a Gary Stu was all part of the joke.

One that I never see get any hate is Naoto from Persona 4. In canon, she's the prettiest, smartest, and coolest, more capable than the entire police force who are jealous of how smart and capable she is, with the biggest breasts at that, at such a young age! Of course every guy and girl loves her and wants to be with her. In the Golden she's probably the best party member too due to having high SP and the ability to use the most powerful form of every elemental attack as well as access to strong physical skills, hama/mudo boost with Hamoan/Mudoon, and heavy almighty damage. Her biggest "flaw" is that she's awkward but it's done in the stereotypical anime way where it's supposed to be endearing. She speaks for the MC during every important cutscene despite the fact that he's not a silent protagonist and you've been choosing his dialogue options the entire game before she came along. The most egregious part to me is when you're trying to talk down the kidnapper, and you choose the lines that you know won't set him off, then the game railroads you into picking that choice, at which point he predictably gets set off until Naoto says literally the things you just said and it works. She also has the entire case figured out months before anyone else does, but for some reason she doesn't let anyone know that she even has her suspicions for who the killer is until everyone else comes right out and says it. It's just another pointless moment that adds to her Mary Sueness.
f*** her, and f*** that generic, overrated, poorly-written anime game. I am tired of no one else giving it shit because it has 15 year old waifus for them to get body pillows of.

Yeah, Thanos needs to be portrayed as beatable, but it also saves him (usually) from dumb ass Vince Russo/Vince MacMahon-esque Marvel "comedy" shit stories. I think Deadpool and Squirrel Girl have gotten away with bullshit wins over him, but they aren't jobbing Thanos out to Gibbon or anything yet. Light hearted and/or comedy stories have their place, but I don't think Marvel totally gets that some characters shouldn't be used for that kind of thing, and Thanos (and Red Skull) falls into that category.

I am tired of no one else giving it shit because it has 15 year old waifus for them to get body pillows of. Don`t you diss on my girl Naoto! The only thing from her is that she is actually really smart, that is why she is an "ace detective" But she is hardly a mary sue. Not being able to communicate with people is one,not being able to trust other people too, deep down insecure, she suspected everyone in the beginning including the protagonist. She is very regular besides the smart part. She is also not smart or strong enough to not be captured by the kidnapper and has to be saved. It is not like her crazy intellect stops every crime from happening and she could have done it by herself and all the character say how amazing she is every time she is on screen. I also don`t know how strong she was in game, but besides Mudoon, which is crazy in some enemies. She is can be underwhelming compared to others, mainly on bosses battles. The Xiaolin Showdown sequel New Monk. Here is that new monk, that can do everything that the others can.EVERYONE loves him because he is so smart and impressive.I will admit his one flaw is being naive at the beginning. But he become the focus of the whole show, and his character is so annoying,he is a know-it-all i can do everything that all the other monks train even if that one Mary Sue is better than every other monk on everything. And the villain the had interest in Omi suddenly says f*** it,that new monk is better ,i want him at my side.

What she did, Rose did earlier and worse. But Rose a) broke down occasionally and it felt like things were bad for her and she was in peril and was accidentally in the position she was and b) was likeable. Amy Pond was just a bitch Well, it's all opinions. I found Amy more likeable and Rose a total selfish bitch. Amy at least loved Rory and any time it came down to it would choose him. Rose just strung Mikey along for so long, coming and going as she pleased while he waited for her, then got jealous if he tried to find someone and have a life. Rose is the one who, seeing someone distraught over a monster turning his girlfriend into a puddle, whines at him about her mum. Rose just went along with what the Doctor said because she loved him, Amy had a seriously close relationship but would call him out on things. And Rose got magical God powers to save the day, became a literal deus ex machine. But we just have different views on these 2.

How many people, at one time or another, would have argued Sora from "Kingdom Hearts" as one? In fairness, main characters in video games shouldn't count. I mean, characters in Anime, Manga, and Japanese Video Games due tend to fall into that scenario. But, they also have different writing structures, and narrative techniques that tend to be idiosyncratic from Western conventions. Goku in DBZ is kind of like that, in the same way that Superman is. They are both as powerful as plot. I always felt that DB is better than DBZ. In terms of overall strength of narrative. The one that irks me is Anita Blake, in the same named series. It is very few times I wanted a fictional character to die horribly.

Bella Swan Brian Griffin Triple H John Cena Stephanie McMahon Jeff Jarrett Dixie Carter Aside from one person, none of those are Mary Sues. Depends of the definition of Mary Sure Brian is on the definition that he is the one that symbolizes the view of the creator.Clearly flawed tough. Cena is the paragon of everything right , he who can do no wrong and can not fail. Bella Swan is...well,i don't think it requires explanation.
