WWE announced a live Stone Cold Steve Austin podcast with guest Vince McMahon airing on WWE Network immediately after RAW on 12/1. This should be amazing.

Really looking forward to this. Hopefully Steve's questions for Vince won't be pre-vetted.

Sounds interesting, hopefully he doesn't throw any softball questions his way.

This would be better if it was a regular "Unleashed" show where they could REALLY say whatever they want, but I really doubt it will be an uncensored show considering they won't even show blood on all of their new shows

I'd love it if Austin concentrated on the more controversial stuff.
Knowing Vince, he'd probably allow it. After all, Austin made Vince very, very rich at one point.

WWE should find out whatever Steve's making on ads, match it times 1.5, and have his podcast exclusively on the Network. They'd get some subscriptions.

If done properly this could possibly be the greatest thing in the history of the universe!
I just hope its part of a lengthy series rather than cramming stuff into one or two podcasts. I think even a 30 part interview with Vince would only begin to scratch the surface.

Anyone know whether or not this is an episode of "The Steve Austin Show" (Unleashed! or otherwise) or if it's a completely new, WWE-produced podcast?

Anyone know whether or not this is an episode of "The Steve Austin Show" (Unleashed! or otherwise) or if it's a completely new, WWE-produced podcast? I believe it is going to be released the next day on Austin's regular podcast feed. I guess this will just be a video recording of their conversation which will have been turned into a regular podcast episode. Austin obviously has some kind of informal deal with WWE Network because he plugs the Network on his show with the match of the week and they plug his podcast on TV.

I prefer him just having the loose association with the company personally, they let their stars appear on the pod, and he's generally pretty open about what he likes and dislikes about the product. Don't know if he'd be allowed the freedom on the Network Plus, the show would probably become more wrestling centric and I honestly love his "on man cluster f***" episodes, and him talking hunting with Teddy Fowler '

I just think it could be a mutually beneficial business move for the two sides, though the existing listeners get screwed if the show get watered down. I don't think I've listened to any of Austin's podcasts, not really a podcast guy. I did listen to a few of Jericho's interviews, which were great.

Austin claims that he is gonna ask Vince tough questions that he isn't gonna sugarcoat it or anything. I hope it's not bullshit, I wish that Steve would ask about this topics:
-How was life growing up in the trailer park -Questions about running his first territory -If his father approved his raiding of the territories -Relationship with Hogan -Steroid trial -Why was Macho Man persona non grata (this is the most important one) -Ted Turner (can be brief, he has talk about it before) -Why he gave Austin the stupid ringmaster gimmick -Attitude era (I wish he would ask him if he really pissed his pants in the ring) -Montreal screwjob -Owen Hart -The invasion -Austin's heel turn -transitioning into the pg era -Thoughts on Cena dividing the audience -Benoit -If he even knows about TNA's existence -Amongst other things
Bonus points if he asks him obscure stuff, like Dr D slapping the reporter, and the whole story about Nailz beating him up.

- Why was Macho Man persona non grata (this is the most important one)
If we get a straight answer to this then that's another off our bucket list

I am more concerned at the kayfabe smashing Bray Wyatt appearance on his podcast being advertised on WWE TV.
