Hoping they announce the new NJPW shows soon. If Philly isn't one of them and I need to go to NY again I'm gonna scream

Adam Cole has a free podcast up at F4WOnline.com on the Dr. Keith Presents Show with Alan4L and Mike Falcone. His previous appearances have all been really fun, and this one should be no different.

I was thinking about an ROH Mount Rushmore and the first three names came kind of easy (Joe, Danielson, Punk), but if you can't count the Briscoes as unit, then who would be #4? Jay as a single?

My first thought was Aries but left trying to destroy them. As great and as important to the ROH story as he is, I think his shit at the end needs to be told just as much as his in-ring accomplishments. McGuinness isn't bad in the 4th spot but I really want to throw in Steen or Homicide since they showed a different style of ROH.

McGuinness isn't bad in the 4th spot but I really want to throw in Steen or Homicide since they showed a different style of ROH. the problem with Steen and Homicide is, if the "Mount Rushmore" are the four most important wrestlers in ROH history (excluding the Briscoes), their knocks against them are worse than Aries and McGuinness AriesPros: spent seven years in ROH, six of which as a main eventer; first 2-time ROH World Champion; 1-time ROH World Tag Team Champion; tag title run was longest reign ever at the time; part of first team to defend the tag titles internationally; took the tag titles from mid-card to main event; leader of arguably the most popular stable in ROH history, Generation Next; Generation Next/Embassy feud is one of the best feuds in ROH history; rivalry with Danielson remains one of the greatest in ROH history; second trainer of the ROH Wrestling Academy Cons: his last two years in ROH as a heel, while having good matches, they were not his best McGuinnessPros: six years in ROH as an active wrestler; 1-time ROH World Champion; 1-time ROH Pure Champion; second longest world title reign; longest pure title reign; last Pure Champion; was world champion during ROH's expansion to pay-per-view and television; rivalry with Danielson arguably the greatest in ROH history; Cons: first in a now ongoing tradition of fans turning on the babyface champion after he wins the title; his title reign ended on a whimper instead of a bang, and after coming back from injury he didn't do anything of note until his farewell match HomicidePros: spent 6-7 years in ROH off and on; 1-time ROH World Champion; one of the "founding fathers" of ROH; ROH's second breakout star (after Paul London); was one of the three "icons" of ROH in 2004 (along with Joe & Punk); was part of several of the greatest feuds in ROH history (Corino, Joe, Danielson, Cabana); was the "savior" of ROH in the ROH/CZW feud Cons: while his first runs solidify him as one of the most iconic wrestlers in ROH history, his disappointing second and third runs were mediocre and forgettable; his short title run can best be described as a "thank you" reign SteenPros: seven years in ROH (round it up to eight if you include his jobber run); 1-time ROH World Champion; 1-time ROH World Tag Team Champion; world title reign was easily the best since McGuinness; was part of the "feud of the year" in 2007, 2009, and 2010; Steenerico/Briscoe feud still arguably the greatest tag feud in ROH history; most popular wrestler from 2013-2014 Cons: due to the tag titles and tag division not being a priority at the start of the Pearce Era, the Steenerico tag title reign remains one of the worst in ROH history, and easily the most disappointing; half his time in ROH was teaming or feuding with Generico (who was always over more), so he was only a main event singles wrestler from 2012-2014

I see your points on them but my problem with Aries isn't so much on camera. It is him trying to bring down the company, picking fights with everyone that opposed his attempts to bring the company down, getting blackballed and then the Kenny King mess. It is hard to celebrate him as one of the greats when if he had his way they'd be dead.

Regarding the 4th member of ROH's Mount Rushmore I'd say it's Nigel and it's not even close. I'd have him higher in the order than Punk to be honest even with the fact that Joe/Punk really helped put the company on the map.
Although this is purely on wrestlers. Both Gabe and Cary would have to be considered if we were talking all round the company.
