ALL I needed to hear! ROH is in good hands, people! Don't get too excited, its not "hopes to have him back" as in they're in talks about him returning. its wishful thinking

Random thought but it pleases me that there seems to be a consensus that Michael Elgin is kicking ass in Japan.

Like, he's good, but he's not "everybody make a big fuss over him" good that he seems to get. He's an easy guy to take for granted given that he's not the most charismatic guy around and he really got weird after the whole work visa thing but I'm glad he seems to be getting his reputation back because I've always been a fan of him. He's a brute and his feats of strength are amazing.

Elgin, to me, is a good but not great wrestler that has some spectacular looking moves/spots and not much else.

Watching this weekend's broadcast and damned if they didn't leave in the Piper-Stand for the Silent commercial. That was a touch unsettling.

I know I'm in the minority here, but I'm not a fan of the New Japan crossovers. The actual wrestling is great, don't get me wrong. I just hate how everything ROH is doing pretty much grinds to a halt the second they show up. Outside of the Young Bucks and, to lesser extent, RPG Vice and the KES, no one has an ROH-related story.

Definitely not alone. I enjoy some of the matches but it's not an attraction to me as I don't keep up with the Japanese scene and barely know one NJ guy from another. Agree on the storylines.

I didn't really mind at first, because outside of War of the Worlds you only had the occasional AJ Styles or (at the time) Forever Hooligans and the NJPW presence wasn't so strong but it's getting pretty out of hand now. War of the Worlds is awesome, I like seeing the matches and seeing who NJPW takes from those performances back to Japan but I completely agree with you, it's really becoming a distraction now.
