I know they have had "Turbo","Tournament Edition",etc....But there's only 5 of these f***in' things at this point? Yep, they were on SF2 for like 7 years before putting out SF3... and then made more versions of 2 Also they then made a spin off series with Street Fighter Alpha and Final Fight

And don't forget the true final story, Street Fighter 2010.

Street Fighter Alpha is Street Fighter Zero.
Street Fighter counting is 1,0,2,4,3.

Street Fighter Alpha is Street Fighter Zero. Street Fighter counting is 1,0,2,4,3. yeah, but there are multiple Alphas. (Also shouldn't that be 1.5 if we're numbering since 0 is before 1 and all)

This doesn't surprise me very much.
I figured if you surely wanted a console game from a company based in Japan (that's not Nintendo), you're going to get a PS4.
Street Fighter has been dabbling in Steam for years now, so it coming on PC is customary. Hell, if the WiiU had more oomph to it I'd imagine it'd be for the WiiU, PS4, and PC.

So how long do we have to wait for Ultimate Street Fighter 5? 7 months?

I love how people complain about the minor updates like it's a recent occurrence.
It all sounds like the early 90's when we had Street Fighter II, then Champion Edition, then Turbo, then Super Street Fighter II, then Super Street Fighter II... the complaining voices all sounded the same back then as they did much later with Street Fighter IV.
I'm not being down on the ones making the criticisms, just pointing out this has been the same since 1991.
I'm still taking my sweet time though, no way I'm paying £300+ on a games console. Heck, my next gaming purchase is gonna be an open-source handheld just to play old Megadrive/SNES games on.

The difference between then and now is then, there wasn't an option for DLC, so a new game being released was needed. Now, you should be able to just download such add-ons onto the game.

I'd like for them to ditch the overabundance of SFII nostalgia and move forward like SFIII was supposed to.

How's about instead of making new point whatever versions of it they actually put in all the stuff that was intended in the first game?
With all the spinoffs of SF, I can see where they got the idea for Downloadable Content.

I'd like for them to ditch the overabundance of SFII nostalgia and move forward like SFIII was supposed to. I, on the other hand, feel the opposite. SFIII was a great game, but it didn't feel like a SF game to me. And this will end up on XBOne sooner or later. RE4 was Nintendo-exclusive, and how long did that last before it appeared on other consoles? Capcom like money, and I very much doubt Sony are ponying up the extra cash to fully compensate for a lack of XBOne sales.

I'm still waiting for a fix for the abysmal Steamworks netcode so I can reliably play USF4. I paid for it, let me play it.

For those members here well-versed in martial arts, how many unique/original styles are left for them to make new characters on? Off-hand, I can think of Kalaripayatu, Pencak Silat and Aikido, any others? They've not even scratched the surface, tbh. There's hundreds of martial arts, and they typically include characters that have no real world analog. I mean, it took them this long to get Tae Kwon Do in. I think KoF's Goro Daimon showed a Judo character can work really well.

He's an MMA fighter, he has some Judo moves, but he's not really a Judoka.
