IIRC, this man LITERALLY has it written in his contract that he can't get married or something. Japanese promotions of all forms of entertainment can be very strict in that regard. Not just being prohibited from dating/marriage, but being photographed with the opposite sex in suggestive ways.Man, Yujiro Takahashi REALLY messed up in that regard. JK, you are right though.

I'm cool with the work.
For my dollar, there are few things more boring than someone in a steady relationship. Good for them, just, ugh. No buys. Leave those props at the house unless you can mine a good angle out of them. It's time to play make believe. You don't have to deny the existence of said potential family, there's just no need to push them.

For wrestling couples it can also get awkward when it comes to face/heel alignments. For example the Bella's are both heels right now (I think), while their significant others are firm babyfaces. Best case scenario is both Bryan and Cena both come off looking whipped for not trying to show their girls the error of their ways. Worst case scenario is it comes off that they're condoning their actions which comes off as ethically dodgy for perennial good guys. That's what's annoyed me about the Brie heel turn. Daniel Bryan was even on RAW 2 weeks ago the night after Brie turned heel by recycling the WMania 28 finish but it wasn't mentioned about Bryan's reaction or anything. That's why I still think the heel turn is a red herring. Then again, you have Tyson Kidd as a Heel and Natalya as a Face and no one bothers to question her reaction to Tyson's actions.

If Tyson is happy as a heel, she's happy because she might get some later that night. Nattie will turn evil before long. They have to film the segment for Total Divas first.

It's not just a WWE thing. Beyonce, while still very popular, took a hit when she married Jay-Z with her male fanbase. A number of married rappers won't mention their wives in their rhymes. Tim Tebow dates women but his diehard fanbase wants him to be pure and virginal. Dude went to Florida and was a star jock. I seriously doubt he made it out pure. How many male fans will be disappointed when they find put Ariana Grande is dating Big Sean? The Jonas Brothers' careers suffered when they seen with women not their mother or teeny booper fans. People who are consider sex symbols are more valued and make big money when fans think they have a chance with them. Japanese promotions of all forms of entertainment can be very strict in that regard. Not just being prohibited from dating/marriage, but being photographed with the opposite sex in suggestive ways. It's the reason why a number of joshi wrestlers retired in their primes for non injury related reasons. If you want to date and/or marry the opposite sex, you have retire first. Huh. It makes what Kong said in her shoot make sense about some of the girls getting together.

Natalya and Kidd have kinda a Miss Elizabeth-Randy Savage thing going. She's gonna stand by her man even if what he's doing is wrong because that's just what a good woman does. While this won't be the most progressive thing to say, that kind of situation doesn't really work when the genders are reversed.
