Serious non-trolling question. With how far they have fallen in the last year, is TNA really more deserving of their own section than say, ROH, GFW, or Lucha Underground, or NJPW? It's not a big deal either way, but at this point who would complain if this section just got merged with the "Rest of Wrestling" section?
More a curiosity based question than a request that it be done btw... I also did a search for this topic and did not find where it had been asked before.

No
Most TNA discussion could probably be dealt with with a single thread.
Though in fairness, I don't think the Network deserves its own forum either.
WWE, Wrest of Wrestling and General Discussion might suffice.

To be honest, TNA or Impact Wrestling may no longer be the 'number two' company in the U.S. You could easily make a case for ROH with their live traditional PPVs and growing syndicated markets. They also still run shows. Yes, ROH actually runs shows right now. TNA will have some in the future, but they haven't run a show since Bound for Glory in Japan.
Lucha Underground is more of a television series than an active promotion, but it is in the same ballpark as TNA nowadays. With New Japan making some in-roads in to North America, TNA just doesn't seem like the strong number two any more. It just seems like one of many projects or promotions trying to exist and/or grow in the U.S.

Just judging in terms of right now, I would say ROH is the current number 2 by default until another promotion (as you said Lucha Underground is more of a series) gets on TV again. GFW is certainly making the most waves right now outside of WWE with its Wrestle Kingdom 9 event... ROH seems the most stable at the moment. New Japan is making in roads, with its ROH and GFW connections, their version of the online network, plus the AXS TV deal.... I don't know much about TV Deals in general, but is Destination America a substantially better network than what ROH, NJPW, or Lucha UG have or are about to have?

It's hard (for me at least) to compare Sinclair stations (only in certain markets) and Destination America. Destination America is available to more people and is all across the country, though customers may not actually be subscribed to it as it may be offered on a higher-tier of channels rather than the basic cable packages (which usually include USA, Spike, MTV, etc.). While Sinclair is not available to as many people and is not in all markets, it could potentially be able to be seen by more people because it would be available on a customer's local channels.

While it might not deserve it, I'm glad we have it.

this has been brought up before recently. To quote my fellow mod from when it was last brought up a few weeks ago. No, having a separate forum for TNA is good for this board. It helps increase traffic and keeps up activity. The mods have discussed what would happen if TNA was to close its doors. It is not something we're looking forward to at all because we'd need something to replace it. Maybe a big indy, maybe a puroresu company, but it's not good for us either way.

TNA is still the #2 promotion in the english speaking world. this is an english speaking forum.
More discussion is to be had about TNA and its decade plus of existence than can be had about Jeff Jarretts promotion that is little more than a website at the moment.
