I'm talking about the Despicable Me ones btw.
So I'm thinking aren't I that we've seen 100's of these things in he first 2 movies and are due to see more in their own spin off.
Some with 2 eyes, some with just the one, some fat some thin etc.
But I've just realised I don't think we have ever seen female ones. Yes I know some like to Cross dress but I don't think that really counts.
Atleast with Smurfs they for Smurfette, Reather or not they lay eggs remains debatable.
Just makes you curious how they reproduce, maybe they don't have a gender, or are both.
Maybe we will never know.

Minions are like Tribbles. They reproduce at will with enough food.
If they've eaten in the movies, then that wasn't enough to trigger the ability.

Also, you gotta factor in that Minions, based upon what I've seen in the trailer for their own movie, can live for millions of years due to their desire to aid and assist history's villains.

I'm think it was implied that they were created.
Which would make me think they are genderless.
