Speaking of amazing entrances, here's his entrance as Bane from Revolution Pro Wrestling in London earlier this year, when he wrestled Adam Cole.

Anyone who disliked this entrance or the paint should no longer have their opinions taken seriously on any topics ever again.

Anyone who disliked the entrance was probably scared because they thought Carnage was coming to get them

Looked like the old Bakasura skin from SMITE to me. Not saying it wasn't cool, though.

The thing is Finn Balor knows the legit use of war paint is not to make you look cool. War paint is used to instill fear in your opponents in a big battle and for that, Finn is good at that.

The paint looked badass.
It should always just be rolled out for PPVs though or maybe his RAW debut. If it was a regular thing it would lose its badassness.

They even incorporated it into his first official shirt, which I quite like by the way: holy f*** that's amazing

And don't ask me why, but I suddenly have this desire to see a mixed tag match teaming Finn with Bayley and he comes out painted all menacing and she comes out painted adorable

If he does one again, I can't wait to see someone attack him during the middle of it.

On one hand, he's cartoony and stupid.
On the other, he's cartoony and awesome.
He's like the Freddy Krueger nightmare adaptation of some shit gimmick in '93. It works. It works well.

Inside 3 weeks he'll be Best for Business Balor - a member of the Authority answerable to Jamie Noble.

And don't ask me why, but I suddenly have this desire to see a mixed tag match teaming Finn with Bayley and he comes out painted all menacing and she comes out painted adorable I want this too. Balor is all symbiote'd up and Bayley is like "I'm a kitty kat! Meow."

It was certainly interesting. It won't be a popular opinion but I just don't get it. It's a cool visual and the paint job is superb but from what I've seen of his there's no reason this great but somewhat average looking Irish wrestler is suddenly turning into.. Whatever that was. I'm not necessarily knocking it, I just don't get why. I see it as something of a continuation of a wrestling tradition. Guys like Flair broke out special robes for big nights, Savage had his special trunks, Rey his masks and outfits. Same basic thing to me, if they keep it to the big shows.

Not quite what they said: linkYes, but, didn't he say in an interview that he was only going to break out the paint on special occasions? It takes a lot of time, plus, it gives the match more impact if he uses the paint sparingly.

I wish he'd chosen something cooler and less creepy/slightly sexual but I get that the idea was to one up The Ascension.
Looking at it that way, it was well done.
