Wow. We got alotta grandpas on this board. Never knew that.
The most annoying trend about this generation is how quickly they turn on people who try to not fall into the trappings of modern technology.
"Look at all these kids on their phones all the time! Ugh, this generation!"
"Look at all these wierdos making their artisinal coffee, crafting their own jewlery and tending their own urban gardens - these hipsters!!"
Its no win. So the real problem with this generation is the previous generation complaining about them.

Social media. It's the best and worst thing to happen to us all.
Too many people seem more interested in getting people to "like" how much fun theyre having rather than actually having fun.

The thing that sucks about the whole being glued to the internet thing is that as a student, I can't escape it.
My homework is on online modules. I'm always getting important stuff from school sent to me by e-mail. If I want to study or communicate with other students, its always e-mail or texting to set it up. I can't pull away even if I wanted to.

People who complain about everything being too PC For that matter, how everything is now overanalyzed in ways nobody ever dreamed of pre-internet.

I could go on about the increasing attachment to phones, social media, etc. But for now, I'll just leave three letters: B... A... E. Can someone explain to me what their gripe with the phrase "bae" is?

Complaining about trends in this generation. Seriously, stop being such grumpy old men and women, my generation. Hell no. Not when there are such things as "youtubers" around.

The attitudes of people who believe that pirating DVDs,etc from the PirateBay is a viable alternative to you know, actually purchasing the physical copy.

In Nando's the other day, someone had some sort of extending stick contraption so they could fit their whole family into a selfie. Why not just ask someone to take the photo for you?

The trend of feigning offence over ever little thing. It seems a day can't go by without somebody getting upset and offended over something inconsequential and a bunch of idiots jumping on the bandwagon too. It annoys me.
Also, the trend of focusing on online MP/Co-op in video games. I don't want to play with other people. I want to play a good, single-player campaign by myself. Even worse is when games hinder what you can do on them unless you have a large friends list of players to go online with to play. I live in a different timezone than most of my friends; to synchronise a time for us to all get together at the same time and form a racing club in Driveclub or go on a DestinY Raid would be a struggle for even Stormin' Norman.

Can someone explain to me what their gripe with the phrase "bae" is? It's irritating shorthand, like cray-cray, which apparently is now just cray. Also, apparently, and this is the internet talking not me, it's Danish for shit, or whatever your favorite synonym for shit is.

Also, it's not their fault. This happens every generation. When I was eighteen I signed up for the service and all of the guys say 27 and up(especially the over 30 crowd) to a man said my generation was worse than any in history. They listed the exact same complaints of self entitlement, spoiled by technology, lazy blah blah blah, that we do (me too) today. The truth is the only thing different from generation to generation is the specific grievances. IE: Bae, Cray Cray, social media, too much reality TV etc. we are no different than the 60's kids were to the greatest generation that preceded them. The older will always decry the yunger and always will forget how annoying we we to our elders.

As far as the whole Politically Correct thing goes.
I kind of see this from both sides
Yes you get those who use this as an excuse to try and justify being an A-Hole
But then there are those who seem to get offended just for the sake of being offended
In some cases both sides are just as bad as each other.
