It's weird, wrestling is the one genre where I don't mind looking at show results, probably because I don't care about the storyline results as much as I do the performances/matches. But with anything else, like movie I'm gonna see, TV shows, or a video game I'm planning to buy, I can't stand getting any spoilers for it before I get to experience it in person.
I guess that there's maybe a desire with some people to find out whether or not something is worth their time, but that element of surprise is too hard for me to resist. It's like, sure there's the off chance I'm gonna be totally let down, but just in case something magical happens I want it to catch me off guard so I can really feel it, y'know?

Who do you know that goes out of his way to look at spoilers Me. I refuse to pay good money to watch a movie without looking at spoilers first.

If I don't particularly care for something or if I'm on the fence about seeing it I'll look up spoilers to see if it sounds interesting.

I love spoilers when I am watching a movie at home I almost always look up what is going to happen later in the film.

I can take or leave them.
Knowing what happens doesn't ruin the experience for me because I'm watching for WAY more than just what happens. Acting, editing, set design, writing, story structure, cinematography, the tone etc - heck even the costuming. The story is just one part of the whole experience.
That is to say if someone said, "Pitt and Norton were the same guy in Fight Club." That's nothing, because for me its about the film as a whole. I don't care what happens in the last 5 minutes of a film and knowing that doesn't ruin the previous 1 hour and 55 minutes. Its like someone worrying about a secret recipe for a dessert and freaking out when someone lets it leak that the final ingredient is marzipan.
But I generally don't actively seek them out unless I have very little desire to actually see the film. But I also don't get the least bit angry if I do come across them.

Yeah generally if I'm looking forward to a series or a film, or even a game I try to know as little as possible going into it so the whole thing can be fresh when I get to it. It differs from wrestling, particularly WWE because I've just been burned so many times I no longer deem it worth the time commitment to see how things play out for myself.

Me. I refuse to pay good money to watch a movie without looking at spoilers first. Are you saying that you pay money to see something when you already know how it ends? I am. It's not really all that different than rewatching a movie you've already seen, or watching an adaptation of a novel. I want to have a vague idea of if I'll enjoy it or not before I spend a penny.

I only use them when the blurb for a book/movie intrigues me enough to want to know how it goes, but I know I have absolutely no interest in reading/watching it. The worst for me though is if I have to do something and record a sports game to watch later and someone tells me the score. It completely takes the fun out of watching.

I really only look at spoilers for WWE shows I don't really watch. So that's basically every show that isn't NXT. I never look at spoilers for movies I plan on seeing. I just don't get it, you lose some immersion of the story when you expect something that's coming up. Seeing something surprising happen on screen for the first time is very different then reading about it before hand. If I'm unsure about the quality of the movie, then I'll wait a week, see what the general consensus is then decide if it's worth my time. Anything else I don't bother looking at spoilers of, because I already don't give a shit about them.
I have a personal bias against spoilers since I used to know this guy who would read spoilers and then "hint" at things in TV shows or movies that would come up like he was so f***ing clever and special because he knew about it. Another example were those asses in the NXT threads who kept "hinting" of Balor's debut and giving away when it was happening. Seriously if you do this, stop. No, you're not clever, you're just being an asshole.

I'm a big believer in letting the creator of a work take me for a ride. I've got to experience it the way they intended, otherwise I don't even feel I can be a fair judge of the quality. It's fun to go back and get more in depth on minutae because you know the basic structure of things, but that first time experience is the main impression of the work's essence.

{Spoiler}"Rosebud" was Citizen Kane's sled, Rhett Butler didn't give a damn and Ilsa's getting on that plane because if she doesn't she'll regret it. Maybe not today, maybe not tomorrow but soon and for the rest of her life. Sorry if some of you hadn't seen these yet.

I'm fine if they're shrouded and and people have the choice to view em
But those that post spoilers for no reason other than to be dickheads, That's were I get annoyed.

It depends.... if it's something I won't be able to watch for at least a year... I'll read spoilers. So I can still kinda keep up with shows like Walking Dead, Game Of Thrones, SOA, etc,....
otherwise, I don't actively seek out spoilers... but if I'm with someone and they give out a spoiler, it's not like I get mad or anything.
I still feel the same way about something whether I watch it or not.
Put it this way... I was glad I had the spoiler for Oberyn/Mountain in GoT so I could prepare my wife for the scene (she hates gore).

Spoilers are almost impossible to avoid these days and I really hate it. Doctor Who is one that really gets killed by spoilers. The BBC would rather tell you who the new assistants and Doctors will be and who the guest stars will be than let it be a surprise, and it kills all the tension. 'Oh no, Amy's dead!' No she isn't because she hasn't quit the f***ing show yet. Time was that you could actually watch a show without having things like that spoiled ahead of time.
