I said before I was getting tired of Marvel/DC and SF/MK fights, so hopefully after this they'll start mixing the four groups up a little and pairing them with other fandoms in the future. Fun battle, though.
Still trying to figure out how Kirby is supposed to stand up to Majin Buu...

One of the very few I agreed with. And the fight was one of the better executed and more believable ones.

Read through the Facebook comments. Deathstroke fans are pissed.
But of course Deadpool wins this, he has no way to lose.

I love the comments of "With planning time, Slade wins" Ok, so the Batman argument. But Deadpool is a master at planning things, and more so he is awesome at taking advantage of his own mistakes.

Doesn't Deadpool have a healing factor and is basically immune to death? I distinctly remember reading a comic where about half his head was missing and it seemed to barely inconvenience him.

He has regenerated from a pool of goo in a matter of minutes. But he also cannot die, Death wont accept him because Thanos cursed him.

Yeah, so basically, beating him just isn't happening, let alone in a duel to the death. Come tot hink of it, if any superhero could undeniably defeat Superman, it would be him. Also, I know what to see a fight between Deadpool and Squirrel Girl. And a baby between them. Maybe the baby can be the result of the fight.

The dialogue was funny, but a battle where one of the competitors has literally no way of killing the other becomes boring to me.

Should've been Deathstroke vs. Punisher...

Yeah, putting a character with the literal power of CAN NOT DIE in a Death Battle really makes no sense.
I mean I get why they did it since Deadpool started out as a blatant copy of Deathstroke... but really...
I would have put Deathstroke against Taskmaster personally

That is something that's been annoying me lately: Why are they using characters who either cannot die, or can only die under very specific circumstances, in a Death Battle? They did it last time with Scorpion, who can only die if his soul is destroyed; but at least in that fight they put him against Ryu, who actually had a technique that could do that. In this fight though, Slade had absolutely nothing in his arsenal that could be more than a very minor inconvenience to Wade, much less kill him. In fact, even if he found out about Wade's magic sword, stole it and used it against him, Deadpool still theoretically wouldn't die because of Thanos' curse like QuaziMofo mentioned.
I realize they take most of their suggestions from viewers, but they really should keep Immortals out of these fights.

I would have put Deathstroke against Taskmaster personally Taskmaster would be a way better choice seeing as Deadpool can't be killed. I am having this very discussion with a friend, Taskmaster's ability is that he learns from watching nothing flashy either him or Bullseye or the Punisher would be better choices.

Interesting video. I don't really know either of them, but Deadpool got annoying to me during the video.
Pretty crazy CGI for a web thing. Impressive on that front.

I don't get this. People complain about Superman being overpowered but at least he CAN die. If Deadpool literally cannot be killed, why would you ever bother reading what happened to him? Where's the danger, the stakes, the intrigue?

That's why people read his comics and love him as a character, because he is funny, and he often gets involved in insanely stupidly awesome adventures.

Where's the danger, the stakes, the intrigue? Just because he's immortal doesn't mean he's well off, or easily solves things. Also since he looks like hell on toast, he's not the luckiest guy in love. Also, comedy.

Where's the danger, the stakes, the intrigue? The danger is to those around him, his friends (when he has them), his daughter... His wife will be fine though. A lot of people are out to kill him. The main stakes are that he desperately wants to be a hero, but for ages no one would believe in him and even the good guys treated him like crap and put no faith in him. If possible death is the only stakes worth reading... Man, what shitty world. He also spent a good chunk of time trying to kill himself so he could be with death, he was so desperately in love with her he tried damn near everything.
